I use Paypal for net purchases but use my banks CC facility for work sales.

When creating a profile you print a set length, measure it then enter the actual length and it will compensate to error.
Before we started doing this long prints (3 metres plus) were sometimes 10 or 15 mm out.
Like plenty have said - give her the price you're comfortable with then if she's not happy let her shop around. If she goes elswehere sounds like it'd be a favour.

Sure Quickbooks isn't cheap but it works well for me.
I like the feature where you create an estimate then if it's approved you press a button to convert it to an invoice.
Does all the payroll and tax recording easily too... if you enter all the data.
Calibrate your printer first. Output is more important than input, sales wise.
Then calibrate your monitor, this is cheaper and easier than the first step.
