We just clean the snot out of that track with alcohol wipes periodically, it is supposed to slide through it if everything is lined up & clean. If a lube had to be used I would recommend a dry lube also like graphite.

I have had VERY bad luck in the past printing anything other than the standard CVC/C/U Pantone colors CMYK. Looks nothing like it should, but I can't recall which suffix it was anymore... We always preflight the seps if a spot is included. More info available here...

late reply but, can you post an image of what your desired final product looks like? possibly you could make some "layer styles" and copy them from piece to piece, that seems like the easiest method to me.
