with windows 10 & 11 you sometimes don't have all the rights for a folder in a user profile.

if you were servicing consumer electronics, you did almost nothing other than changing caps and reaching for the ESR meter
the way the caps were rated changed. smaller...
i didn't say they make it. i just suspect they tweak the formulation always imagining they know better than anyone else

I just recommended yesterday that a gerber edge user go to Ebay and purchase an ESR meter that tests for the normal failure mode for electrolytics. $55 & you can text all your caps in circuit. unplug & wait 15 minutes before you start texting. Of course
I will, say, though, the 1980’s/1990’s vintage electronics that Gerber used are
resiliant as hell. Much like my Gerber plotters & Edge’s the biggest problems besides caps is
poor connections at plug ins. They held up much better to surges than most other equipment
Either way, you have the choice of using a hardware “voip phone” (a phone that sits on a desk) an app on your personal phone, or a “Jabari headset” connected to a computer. You can login and out of all 3 depending on your needs
