  1. Banding On One Side But Not The Other?

Didn't you just say the banner you printed came out GREAT? The reason you were asked to post pics, is because there are different types of banding, and the more experienced users here can be more specific about your problem when they SEE the banding you are having. Assuming you have run a...
  2. Prepping alupanel, DiBond, etc. for painting?

Yea, I thought so.. You know I read all the posts in every thread, however I see more and more comments posted, like if the poster has NOT read everything, oh well! No harm no foul....:thumb:
  3. Prepping alupanel, DiBond, etc. for painting?

Maybe because BLACK Dibond does NOT come wide enough for 50"x52" panels? :help
  4. a few window perf questions

Are you laminating the window perf? Not a fan of the seal-it pen either, (if it's worth doing - it worth doing RIGHT), I would use edge-sealing tape on the edges.
  5. I just made the biggest blunder one could make on a full wrap for a full size van

:goodpost: +1 - Don't do this or you will be redoing the entire job over in a few months, Coloradosigns has done more wraps than most of us and knows what he's talking about - take heed or pay the piper! :thumb:
  6. anyone here have a Samsung galaxy 3 Tab?

I have a Galaxy 3 Tab 10.1 tablet I use it for work so NO games or music, however I was thinking that most devices like this only have a per-amp just powerful enough for a headphone, not really powerful enough to drive speakers. I have a set of desktop speakers, and they use and wall wart AC...
  7. I just made the biggest blunder one could make on a full wrap for a full size van

I said the same exact thing in post #11, however, because you mentioned something about 3 panels per side, I was saying to stretch the center panel, so yes if you have 5 panels, you need to do what I said for panels 2 & 4. I was under the impression you ONLY had 3 panels, but the fix I mentioned...
  8. I just made the biggest blunder one could make on a full wrap for a full size van

As you mentioned, sometimes you see a difference between panels (Print Shading), however in my experience it's NOT caused by sending separate panel to the rip, it has more to do about the difference in the printer from one side to the other, heater temperature difference from one side to the...
  9. The Greatest Daughter

    Fred, Now that's a good one...:ROFLMAO:

  13. I just made the biggest blunder one could make on a full wrap for a full size van

Not that it has happened to me, I'm just old school and create my own panels, each as a separate file with bleed (overlap), tic marks color bars and labels printed on the bottom of each panel. Some of my first wrap jobs were 45' trailers, and that's when I stared creating individual custom...
  14. Latest Gadget.

Love my Nikon D800, the 36mp sensor delivers outstanding resolution, and great 1080p video. :rock-n-roll:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZZs17C_L-s
  15. Generic Cleaning Solution for solvent ink

Actually, I find it a good deal to purchase generic 220ml eco-sol cleaning carts, and extract the cleaning solvent, pour it into my little plastic bottles for cleaning, way cheaper than the Roland brand, and as most have said, it's about the same stuff and works great for cleaning! Here's some...
  16. SP540V Static Hair On Blue Only...?

Most everybody on here knows how plotters and printers work in this industry, but not sure if you are failure with how circuit boards are populated, here is a short video showing how FAST a PICK and PLACE machine (chip shooter) can populate a circuit board ready to be wave soldered in the next...
  17. SP540V Static Hair On Blue Only...?

How can a dirty encoder strip effect just ONE print head? Also, I thought you did this a little while back? I don't think it is something you should clean very often, I remember one poster used the wrong cleaner and removed the small indicator marks on the encoder strip, and had to get a new...

  20. solvent printing on fabric

SightLine, Have you tired their SI 310 Paper Backed Flag for flags or banners? In your experience, which of the thinner fabric's specifically has the printing problems you mentioned? Have you tried the SI 4418? What kind of Hot Knife are you using? Thanks
