  1. COASTERS - Double Sided Digitally Printed/Full Color

So we used to run Katz Display board for these, but it must be die cut. It chews through Zund/Esko style blades waaay to fast to make it worth the cost. From time to time we run 2mm PVC. It's not really an idea coaster material, but it kind of feels like one :-)
  2. What printed this?

    Sound advice!
  3. Looking for E Flute White/White Cardboard

As mentioned, contact your local paper supplier or corrugated supplier. We have purchased this from our box supplier in the past. Careful though. It's never ever ever flat.
  4. Suggestions Vinyl supplier

I feel like bigfish should chime in here soon! Welcome!
  5. News The Source for Yard Signs!

This is correct. Yards signs need to be placed in appropriate areas. Most of the time, you can place them on private property - especially if they are non-commercial free speech.
  6. Max Metal Madness

Do you guys use alot of bubble-X? It's kind of stuck in the middle of coro and pvc IMO. Can't put it on a stake, and the edge isn't smooth like a sheet of PVC, Foamcore or Styrene. I think that's why most places don't stock it.
  7. Looking for a trade company you can cut custom coro

  9. Small shop vendor orders

Gino, I kinda think you meant to reply to a different thread. I could be wrong....
  10. Small shop vendor orders

Totally agree! Most people are pretty open to suggestion, especially if you are confident in what you say and are really giving them a better deal to use the "Stock stuff"
  11. Force Majeure: Yet another Corrugated Plastic Increase (Coroplast)

There is alot going on, and sure, thinking the price will go back down is an assumption. But I have seen this before. After every major storm that hits the gulf coast. So far, every time it has come back down. The cost of corrugated plastic has only gone up on average of 5-10% over the last...
  12. Small shop vendor orders

Stacey, your system seems pretty good. For whiteboard and paper, that's probably a good approach. In terms of profitability though, I would really look at what you stock. Are there 3 or 4 vinyls that could actually all be done with one vinyl? Are there substrates that could be consolidated...
  13. Force Majeure: Yet another Corrugated Plastic Increase (Coroplast)

What's happening to corrugated plastic isn't really inflation, it's an act of god wreaking havoc on the supply chain. We buy corrugated plastic form 4 primary suppliers. One of them rejected our PO a week ago. They didn't reply with a higher price, they literally rejected the PO stating they...
  14. Force Majeure: Yet another Corrugated Plastic Increase (Coroplast)

This will affect everything in our industry. Corrugated plastic is a high volume product that is highly susceptible to the price of resin, so it shows the issues first, but PVC, Vinyl, Styrene, ACM, Packaging Materials, etc. all feel the pinch. I have been getting 2-3 price change letters a day...
  15. Force Majeure: Yet another Corrugated Plastic Increase (Coroplast)

More increases coming down the pipe again. The street price of coro will likely double by May. So far, our FireSprint printed price on yard signs will stay consistent, we bought a couple of months worth of material in hopes to hedge these increases. I assume they will be temporary. Here's what...
  16. Did Grimco acquire Midwest??

Gimco did acquire them. Some of the accounting practices have changed, and MW is getting leaner, but that's about the extent of the changes so far. I'm not thinking MW made any money in the last few years, so it was a matter of time. This was Grimco's largest acquisition, so it seems they are...
  17. Wall Graphics vinyl...

We run a ton of dreamscape caviar for wall graphics. It works well in alot of cases. It's not really permanent, but it is high tac. You could also try Walk&Wall or TexWalk.
  18. This photo app is bananas!

    This is crazy.
