  1. top 15 worst logo failures

    Great link Eric!!
  2. Best board for print quality and durability????

The board doesn't have much to do with it for what you are defining as "durability". What matters is how it is packaged for shipping.
  3. Is this a crazy low bid for a wrap?

    1. It is crazy low, in general. 2. You are paying too much for your wholesale printing. 3. Why are you posting this in the open section rather than the premium section?
  4. Cost effective method to print 500 posters

What type of printer are you taping about getting? A roll to roll like an older Arizona, or something like a Mutoh or Roland? If the latter, you should plan on your ink costs being double what you are thinking.
  5. Tablets. Have One? Don't? What do you do on it?

It is invaluable from a business standpoint. I give presentations with mine, and probably the best thing is that I can whip out a stylus when meeting with a client and sketch right on the screen - and not have to worry about losing the sketches.
  6. Cost effective method to print 500 posters

Good lord - how much cheaper do youthink you are gonna get than that? Bringin it in house, on a fill fed printer, your costs are gonna go UP, not down. Let me guess - you're selling them to your customer for $4/ea...
  7. Which canvas?

    Yup :) no problem.
  8. New Logo & Dimensional Ideas

Logo makes me think of a college more than insurance - FWIW. Depending on how you are envisioning this, there are quite a few ways you could do something cool with it. However it's silly to spitball ideas without at least SOME idea of what the client's budget it.
  9. Which canvas?

If you go that route, I'd use translucent white as an undersheeting - but you shouldn't need to. There isn't any white in your design.....
  10. Which canvas?

I don't believe there would be. Although I would REALLY be tempted to print the design on clear, mount it to the thinnest clear substrate you can get your hands on, and THEN poar your epoxy. That would give it a real translucent feel, which I think would lend itself to the illustration quality...
  11. Which canvas?

I wouldn't use vinyl - just because as the epoxy dries it is going to shrink to an extent. I'd just use spray adhesive and poster paper. But that's just me.
  12. Signfonts Special, New Releases!

AYAYAYA!!!!! Can you send me my Old Glory now?
  13. Gomedia do it again with a Mockup app

    Same here - I'm third in line :) http://www.mockupeverything.com?lrRef=ZhlHg
  14. Which canvas?

I definitely think flooding it out makes much more sense - especially with the level of craftsmanship that it appears is going into the rest of the sign. Only thought I have is that it is probably silly to use canvas if you are doing it this way. I'd probably just print it on poster paper...
  15. Critque?

Yes - yea you are. Some people just refuse to respect the craft of design. They think buying software turns them into designers. And they won't listen when people try to help them, because they have a delusional idea that they are already designers - even though everything and everyone tells...
  16. Art for Mattell Toy

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. The "business" of design means being paid properly for your work and the rights attached to it. I don't know too many places where I can spend my "pride" on actual goods and services.
  17. Critque?

It is better than your first try, you've still got a long ways to go. Try a google image search for "sign shop logos" and get a feel for the prevalent styles.
  18. Art for Mattell Toy

Because, if he wanted to be a super d*ck, at any point he could say "wait - I no longer want you producing anything of mine"....And they woudl legally have to stop.
