Back in the 80's and 90's I built a large easel in our middle paint room. It was 60' long and 16' tall. My old shop was about 14,500 sq ft. It had heavy hinges all along the top, but every 4'. That way, I could pull out how ever many I needed to use for painting. We did a lotta billboards...

Dangit........... I just helped with another partial wrap and I had nowhere to put my torch, other than in my hand while I held the squeegee in the other. I did set it on my box with wheels from time to time & here and there, along with some other tools, cause I can't hold 'em all at once, ya...

For your information, we just finished a partial wrap today. I don't need to defend my question. If it was that useful, don't you think you'd see everyone selling them ?? And........... you wanna make one. Don't worry about me or our experience or capabilities. Next year will be 50 years...

I'm still use my hands for signwork from time to time, too. That's sentimental for me these days. I even open my eyes to see what I'm doing. I know notasignguy is gonna have something to say about that one..........

By rights, if you wanna appear professional, you'll need to remove all the old vinyl and adhesive.

Hahaaa..... reading another thread where someone wants a holster for their heatgun, reminded me of so often doing this one. Painting something, had a run and took a rag and wiped it off. Smudged it a little, so you added some turps to the rag and got it all off. Stuffed the rag in your back...

Whatever, but for the life of me, I cannot see the need for such a dangerous holster ?? Perhaps the setup justin just pictured would do it for you. Again, can you tell me why it is needed so close to you ??

I don't think any such thing exists. After using the gun for only a few minutes, would be too hot to keep on your person. We generally just let the gun lay on a desk or in a holder while not in use.

All the municipalities we do have lotsa reflective, too. Even ones we don't do have reflective in them. As for someone seeing a car with reflective on it..... is that why they spend about $7,000 on all those LEDs all over the cruiser ?? Those suckers are blinding when they're in a hurry...
