    Do a pencil rubbing, then trace it, then scan it and vectorize it? Or if you can get a good enough photo of it, you could maybe trace it in your software. It's just a "one off" , right?

  12. What laminator should I look for?

    I watched a video on some chinese laminator where they just pulled the print through. It took two people though to do anything large, as one person had to handle to laminate and backing paper. Those cheap laminators dont always have the upper roll handler or a take up reel for the backing paper.

    Jeremy, go to the SAI website and download the profiles they have there. I used the Oracal 3951G and the 3m180 for almost everything.

    If it needs protection during installation, it sounds like it will be susceptable to scratching during cleaning and "use". So my question is , how durable is it? Is this a film best left for show cars or special events?

    I dont have VW ( I use Flexi) But it sounds like - Either there is no contour cut line in the art file or you are sending it as a "print only" job.
