    I have never bought banner material with the core longer than the material. Better have a talk with your supplier cause thats BS. I think anyone would have a problem with that.

    I am not a Summa guy but I bet the red uses more heat and the glue is slipping on the backing paper. I experienced that on our Mimaki with certain clears. They would just tunnel up before reaching the print head.

    It is made by Mulripanel U.K. Ltd Comes in many colours. One side will be gloss and the other Matte and it is clearly marked on the plastic protection film. They also have a brushed aluminum, gold and copper, single sided only. same stuff.

    Alupanel is what we use. Not sure if that is the same one. I have had no problems with it.

    I have seen those...the multicolored ones i believe.. great idea!!! I pick me up a few. I was truing to use some 1/2" coro offcuts but I keep stumbling on them and pert near breaking my neck!!!
