  3. Vinyl mounting speed contest anyone?

now I'd love to win $1500 cachingo's baby :) but I think that in the rules it should be Hand Methods only meaning no automated machinery...but of course it could be awesome for you to see the big squeegee blow the socks off of automated equipment.
  4. Vinyl mounting speed contest anyone?

so for clarification is this a big squeegee contest or who can make the signs the quickest regardless of method? my opinion is it should be the quickest regardless of method, if the big squeegee is the fastest you will have material for advertising showing the benefits in real life...
  5. Vinyl mounting speed contest anyone?

now we're talking just a general who can get the job done the fastest contest versus a big squeegee contest.

  12. Attention all Suppliers or anyone who wants to sell a plotter!!!

for the record i have a summa and am a HUGE summa fan and recommend them for almost all plotter needs. but for what Flame is doing (motorcycle graphics) i would still suggest a flatbed, i have seen some heavy duty ones that cut through cardboard, canvas, etc. cutting through 18mil shouldn't be...
  13. Attention all Suppliers or anyone who wants to sell a plotter!!!

i put a flatbed plotter in at leatherman tools that thing would cut through anything. i would be investigating flatbed plotters if i was in your shoes

I had a pnc 1100 when it was a new machine and cut literally miles of vinyl with it and being before digital print did some incredibly intricit jobs with it OFTEN and never had a problem, so sadly i must say that Flame's statement is not based on real world experience. I would agree though that...
  17. Gerber Sabre 408

surfacing the table is also one of the things to do but if other things are a miss this wouldn't be where i started. the reason i think it is something else is that they changed the table because it wasnt cutting correctly. no offense meant but if you dont know what the gantry is (the...
  18. Gerber Sabre 408

there is a multitude of issues that could cause this. since you mentioned that it has a new tabletop the first thing that i would investigate would be the installation of the tabletop. assuming that the tabletop is level the next thing i would be worried about would be possible slight damage...
  19. What would you charge for these yard signs?

I charge extra (ALOT extra when I have to play banker and wait for my payment) but no I don't give discounts for cash and do not agree with cash deals for the sake of not collecting sales tax, what a stupid practice.
