you guys are learning what the rest of the signindustry learned MANY MANY years ago. These machines do not print at a level of acceptability for professional work.
wow you've FINALLY seen the light. I was trying to pound this into your head months ago. I installed a flatbed at leatherman tool in Wilsonville and Gerber Knives in Beaverton, unfortunately with all of the changes in house of the suppliers in your area I can not recommend anyone but would...
I can't stand the guy or his posts but if we are going to start banning ppl for posting worthless content I vote we put Ken at the top of that list.
I did see the image that the dipstick in question posted and it was a MAN giving a BJ to a he/she...regardless it has no business on this site.
i have a olympus dslr evolt 510 and a assortment of lenses. we did tradeshow displays for a distributor and the camera was a 'bonus' that i am and was very thankful for...however, if i was to purchase a dslr camera Olympus would not have been my first choice, but it more than gets the job done...

my personal opinion is that this machine should never have been sold as a professional sign machine but marketed and sold to hobbiests and maybe the odd business that does one off custom proofs and prototypes.
We purchased one brand new and were able to get our vendor to take the machine back...

if you don't have them yet there are some publications that you should look into for some inspiration and some guidance. Signcraft magazine is a must have as well as a copy of the book Mastering Layout. You can find both at...
Every brand of friction fed plotter I have ever owned, sold, or serviced has had issues with teh wheels developing compressed flat spots from being left engaged, and I have never owned, sold or serviced a signwarehouse brand or ebay special nor anything named after a feline species.
and...
this guy is literally a portland celebrity...and I would even say a national celebrity in the counterculture artworld not to mention the artcar culture (those cars you see that are literally rolling sculpture).
his art style is not "traditional" and he is anything but just a window...
SURE. Open the phone book and go to your local professional sign company or local professional design firm or agency. they will have the knowledge to do what you need as this is a basic skill in this industry.
