No, it's not a bottleneck at all...it just isn't accurate at all if I run it past 10% full speed. It's like 8 years old. It's a CG-130FX

My question is, what kind of plotter is that and how accurate is it going that fast? I have a mimaki that apparently sucks because I cut about 10X slower than that and it's still off by leaps and bounds at the end of a run that big.

Mine acted like that right out of the box, and it ended up being the pump in the end. This is mind boggling. Seems like if it starts out fine, and only does it later in the print it'd have to be something in your ink system.

You can do 720 X 1080 on a JV33, but according to the tech I talked to it likes to do 540 X 1080 better. I print both, and I do feel like the 720 is better when printing slow. If I'm printing fast, I roll with 540. I'd try the heat thing too. Bump it up a little and see if it changes.

I have no employees, probably for reasons like this that make me content being a one man shop, but I'd have sent both of them home for sure. Guys are different than girls, and if they duke it out, they can be calm in the same environment again shortly after, so I'd hope they calm down the next...

You can't be serious if you are talking about general cordless power tools...the two are nothing alike.
