  1. Need Help Banner bunches leaving headstrikes Latex 360

Perhaps this doesn't apply to this machine, but when this happens to us, it always seems to be a rather new roll (heavy) and someone forgot to unwind and relieve the tension from the roll itself. Seems to always go away, when we take the stress off it.
  2. protecting surface with vinyl or laminate?

Seems like a silly idea, whether he did it before or not. Not to say, I haven't done some silly dumb things for customers before, but this would be in the top two.
  3. Oil polyurethane

Usually, if ya wanna hide the height, you'll be doing a lot more coats. You wanna try to keep any vinyl movement from taking place as the two will expand and contract at a very different rate, thus causing cracking and looking like crapolla. Calendared is just not used for this process.
  4. Oil polyurethane

Clear before you put the vinyl on. If you clear over top cast, you'll need 10 to 15 coats to do it right. Calendared is just a bad idea, altogether.

Uh-oh......... something has suddenly turned wrong. AND I wasn't involved.
  6. Discussion Cut vinyl and 2 color screen printing are coming back for revenge!

That guy is lucky he didn't drown in that glass. He just has a huge case of phantosmia
  7. Discussion Cut vinyl and 2 color screen printing are coming back for revenge!

Nope. Sorry, tried it again, and it's nothing but buzz words and how stupid people think....... plus their reasoning for thinking stupid. I glossed over it and went here and there and still nothing.
  8. Discussion Cut vinyl and 2 color screen printing are coming back for revenge!

Good grief..... I couldn't even watch a minute before that nitwit's voice made me wanna barf. Can't do that. Nope. hafta keep a clean workplace. Do you think there is anyone alive that could watch 11.5 minutes of that stupidness ??
  9. So, an architect left his zipper down...

That's all done with chalk, imaginary lines and some mirrors. Besides, it's all temporary work. Otherwise, that wall would fall on the girl in a few weeks.
  10. Shop Pics

Nice setup, but if you ever go to cut something at over 11 feet, you're gonna wanna move that piece jutting out away.

Looks like he swallowed someone's balls. Same difference.
  12. Recyclable alternatives for Corrugated Plastic

Railroad stock is about a 6 or 8 ply shocard, but isn't white-white. It's kinda mottled. It's what anything temporary was printed on from as far back as I can remember. Printed as in screen printed. It's waterproof for about maybe 6 months for outside. No Parking signs, political signs...
  13. Another Pricing Question!

Check with some local vendors. They might provide a CNC version, but you need to express the thickness....... 1/8", 1'4" or more. You'll also need to provide standoffs and/or studs for drilling into the wall and finally a pattern for whoever IS installing them.
  14. Before Computers

Ahh, not to alarm you, but as much of that dust is settled all over the place, it's also settling IN you. There is no way you are not breathing in residual amounts of dust, if you are indeed sandblasting inside. If that much dust has built up in just a few weeks, over the years, you've...

Hmmmmmm......... now that's all I see. Good grief, now we need a new transgender card for those with both a bird and something else for parents...... or were you found/hatched under a rock ??
  16. Advise on horrible customer

No one, least not me, said anything about being a bully on one side or the other. Taking a bull by the horns is a phrase/idiom for taking charge in a rather bad situation. I'm not about deceiving anyone when it comes to business. It either is or it isn't. You make money or you don't. You...
  17. Customer artwork

Except, I start a lot higher than that. I have 5 jobs exactly like this right now. It's an on-going problem, but it seems to have gotten worse..... much worse. 2 went out the door earlier this afternoon. 2 others are looking for thier files and one just said, ahh, you do it and do it right...
