one of the commercial printers we had some experience with had, in his terms and conditions that your order for 1000 (or whatever number) could be 2% under or as much as 5% over the target figure. in this way he eliminated the problem of storing ""overs"

you probably have a situation where the 50 degree temp has reached the dew point, you are condensing moisture out of the air and triggering a sensor of some sort
it is there to prevent print head damage
or rent/borrow a propane heater (console or bullet)
your area is pretty large,
remember to set a pot of water on top of the heater to let water boil and add humidity to the air. or run a vaporizer.
