print on adhesive vinyl, laminate with a white board laminate, then stick the whole thing to a sheet of steel - this will create a whiteboard with custom graphics that can be used both with dry-erase markers and magnets. (for longevity. cast would be recommended, but let price determine the...
I second Ikarasu - you need to play with it more.... I can get the blade set low enough to perf cut scrim banners to where it will release cleanly with a slight flick, or pop (though everyone tells me cutting scrim banners is not what perf cutting was for... it works well.) For stickers. when...
... have you verified that you actually have the right to reproduce, or to reproduce and sell, the fonts that you so freely download? this is actually an area where intellectual theft runs rampant. A lot of times the font is free to download and use personally, but as soon as you use it...
yes, click on the substrate length, then open the next dialogue box, then open the box that lets you type in the length - have to do for every roll. All previous printers I have used had a virtual switch that was on or off for every roll - as it stands, if an operator blindly follows the...
Thank you for all the advice... the HP tech showed me where the line is... with the 700 it will not automatically keep track. You must set the preference for every roll loaded, and though it is easy to get to, it is 2 folders deep - not something to randomly find.
Hey, don't make fun of the white glue - that stuff tasted great!!! Not sure when they changed the formula, but paste and white glue used to be non-toxic and have reasonable food value.... :)
ours came with the Onyx rip - and the machine has never asked how long a roll is... I could not find the option, but I will keep looking. We have a tech coming to install new firmware, I will also ask him.
Hello, for those who use the HP, is there a way to have the printer keep track of how much roll is left? we made the serious upgrade from an aqueous Canon to the latex, and we love the prints... however, I am finding I really miss how well the Canon managed the rolls, especially how much media...
try searching "Mike Stevens Brush Lettering" that is all I did... found a few pics of a good doppelganger of the one from OP... used the Amazon phone app, not google - not sure if that matters....
I believe the sign looks awesome - unfortunately it is not original artwork. It is sign makers like the OP who give the industry a terrible reputation for intellectual theft. Sure it took time and a little talent to make the sign - how much money and effort went into making Wally Gator a...
.. we did not rasterize any vectors.... but please note, if you are doing digital printing - not plotting - then you ARE rasterizing every single vector file when you send it to print... that is exactly what the RIP does. (and every modern printer has either an internal or external RIP...)...
We printed a backdrop of the New York skyline for a banquet... the closest observers were going to be 50 feet away and we could only pull 4dpi from the originals at the size needed... it looked awesome from 50 feet! it looked like a good reproduction of the actual sepia print photo that we...
no worries as an old boss used to say: "there are many ways to put ink on paper." Use what works for you....
Just a thought: sometimes it is faster to put the shovel down and rent a backhoe---- even if you have already been digging with the shovel for a few days. The 'wasted' effort...
you can use either program - we found ai is the easiest and most accurate in reproduction - use what works for you... remember you can still number in ai and then send it to VW....
... we do this all the time, especially to make tickets for school shows... just set up 2 identical images side by side and call it your original - then import the variable data into a field in each of the 2 images --- voila! 2 identically numbered images. You can duplicate the spreadsheet...
