  1. Vinyl to stick on carpet of boat??

Not saying this is proper in any way, but we did floor graphic vinyl/laminate for a carpet install. Held up well for two weeks at a trade show.(according to client) Not sure how it was to remove(or install for that matter) as I sent it to TX.
  2. Help me build/spec a computer for my home based business please.

My two cents: Buy local. We have our whoopa$$ systems built by a local company. We get to sit down and discuss what we need and they build it. Best part is their systems come with a 3 year no questions asked warranty. Only had to use it once in close to 15 years because of a CD/DVD drive...
  3. Roland SJ 540 Test Print

Make sure the pump lines and drain line(s) aren't clogged. It will eventually quit printing if the lines are clogged or extremely restricted. There could be other issues too. Only recourse is to replace all those lines. Very simple to check and replace. Been there, done that, went back to...

  7. Imprintables ECO-Print Review

It's all we use and will continue to use. Mike Koval got me set up and answered all my dumb questions. Sidebar: I made a shirt for myself as a test. It gets thrown in the washer with the whites which means bleach and washed hot. It also gets dried hot. And I don't turn it...
  8. Need Help with Beveled text with bitmap fill corel draw x7

I'd use the supplied jpeg and UpRes it with OnOne software and call it a day. Standard car door magnets are not worth the hassle of recreating. Unless of course you're getting paid to rebuild the file. Theft and loss rate of magnets doesn't justify perfection either. JMO
  9. Mistakes in the workplace

IMO it boils down to type of mistake and frequency. The following scenario looks at the same employee making the same mistake. If an employee makes a mistake you have a chat about what went wrong. Use this chat to see if additional training is necessary. If additional training is indicated...

RJ's Tip 'o' the Day: Study spatial competition. Here is a very simple overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jILgxeNBK_8 I find this subject fascinating. It also explains what you see in malls and business centers.

  15. Radiant Heat in Shop

Ceiling fans like Gino said. He's also right about having your utility coming in to see what can be done. If you are using propane you may want to look into a pellet heater. They are much cheaper to run than propane. You can buy them that look almost like a regular furnace. No window, no...
  16. Well what to do now.

One thing I've learned over the years is be willing to move to wherever the jobs are. Or..... If you liked the oil field work get into a tech school and learn pipe welding. 6G cert in the fields will make fat bank. Truth is, 6G cert just about anywhere will make fat bank. Place not far from...
