I thought the same thing. They should sprinkle in a few slightly negative reviews for maximum credibility. Or it's just a steal. Maybe it's really easy to make a tablet. Who knows? I vote Weasel buys one and gives a full report. He knows how to run a Wacom. He can give us the skinny.

Doh! There goes my exclusive. I'm surprized that wacom drivers will work a different company's tablet. What software are you drawing in? Can we see something that you've drawn?

It isn't here yet. I'm in Canada so it takes a little longer for things to arrive. I will report my findings though. I'm also waiting for a video card and some ram. Giddy with excitement. Oh, and some hardcoat for foam. It's like freakin' Christmas here.

Wait a minute! You mean Apple are just assemblers like everyone else? Apple has no manufacturing facilities? They just make software and use the same stuff inside their computers that all the other companies use?! If this is true then what the heck is all the hype about?

I didn't know that Apple made there own CPUs, ram, video cards, sound cards, power supplies, etc. That's pretty amazing.

OK.... so if I put in only 3 gigs of ram I should see 2.5 the same as if I put in 4 gigs? I guess I'm missing why I would put in 4 gigs of ram if it can only see 3.

Well... I bought my shades at the drugstor for $12.( I got the ones with the case. I know it was extravagant but sometimes I do impusive things) I think Oakley's sunglasses are a lot of money for what you get so I guess it's a good analogy with Apple. I went to the apple site and had a good...

Well I'll be. I can pretend I understand... but I really don't. I thought adding a card with it's own ram would free up the ram the on board "card" was using. How much ram do you suppose I'll see? I'm hoping more than the the 896 I'm seeing now. BTW, I seem to be using about 750megs or so...
