  1. Cost of Funerals!!!

My plot has been bought for years, at that time it was $300 each. Donating my organs. I am NOT being laid out (barbaric) or embalmed, just cremated and buried on top on my mom when the time comes. The plot can be used for someone else in my huge family. The cool thing is that I will be buried in...
  2. What to do?

I wouldn't change the car color. He approved it. I wouldn't even pee on him if he was lying thirsty in a gutter.
  3. No turning back now...

Can't wait to see what you start coming up with! Full speed ahead! Love....Jill
  4. Cross-reference please!....ARLON

I do have a catalog but what do you need me to do? Love.....Jill
  5. Forward the client or outsource?

It depends upon the job. Luckily I have three very local friendly competitors who do what I don't (as in electric, trophies, and sandblasted stuff) and they do me the favor of sending people who want the handpainted stuff to me. I do sub out prints. What goes around comes around. I don't want to...
  6. Happy Birthday Bob M

Practice this song for next year. Love.....Jill :birthday:
  7. Font ID's

Brian just try Impact and skew it a bit. Love.....Jill
  8. What to do?

I hope it works out for you. At least you will learn, if you're not already doing so, to CYA with documentation in the future. I'm thinking I would print out something the same as his wrap, put it on coro but at under his name "IS A THIEF" And hang it in the window at your shop. Love....Jill
  9. No Human Contact Day

I've always called those "Mental Health Days". Not as fun as the real mental health days when you put up your Gone Fishin' sign and go for a picnic but still good for the soul. Love....Jill
  10. Quick design. Watcha think?

That's a lot of stuff crammed right to the edges all in kind of hard to read thinnish lettering. Try his name in caps and lower case and the accountant part in caps. Love....Jill
  11. Logo for input

It's still very a ho-hum cookie cutter sign shape with bland colors. Try bringing what you do to the forefront as was suggested, maybe bringing both it and Dawn's outside of the oval.
  12. I got a Vinyl Cutter / Plotter Hope to get some insight here

Looks like you know your stuff when it comes to airbrushing! It's a talent I lack, but can appreciate. Now you need to get a better website to showcase your work.
  13. I got a Vinyl Cutter / Plotter Hope to get some insight here

Welcome from PA. I would like to see some pix of your airbrush work. Getting a cutter is a good step for making patterns and such. The Mike Stevens book will help you learn the rules of layout. That's what I did in 1994, after almost 10 years of winging it with just a brush and what I learned in...
  14. Logo for input

If you want to only make signs for the wedding and hair salon crowd, keep on going. Bob was right about the apostrophe but nothing makes this sign dynamic or makes me want to buy a sign off of you. The weak script, the blah colors, it is just so bland. You might like it but will a potential...
  15. Reflective Vinyl and LOTS of Washing and Waxing

I would only use 3M. Also, I would apply it over an "outline" layer of good high-performance vinyl. SignGold will last a good long time. Price the job both ways and make sure you charge what it's worth. It's probably going to cost more than the last time you did it but the guy can see what...
  16. Has anyone wrapped a cement mixer truck?

I would be sure to ask which cleaners they use on the trucks. You don't want your hard wok to get eaten right off the truck the first time it's washed. Love....Jill
  17. Pan Face

    Turned out real nice. Love....Jill
  18. Excel Nightmare...

The last time I got one of these files (for dry erase for a factory) I was able to copy and paste to size right into Corel. It still was kind of sucky but it was easier than I thought. And I only tried it out of desperation (on the first try) and it worked. Love....Jill
  19. Sign for Signs

I wanted to use Brush Script but Adrian beat me to it. Here's a quickie. Love....Jill PS Tiki's is my fave, very elegant.
  20. Proper grammar/puctuation help

I think you should use the archaic abbreviation: &ct. But then again I've been reading a lot of Jane Austen. Love....Jill PS I'm kidding, I agree with post #9. Whatever you do...DON'T use "& More!" God I hate that.
