Yea, this would actually be a better idea. If you need it "rigid" buy some 2X4's and make a frame. If it's all about cost and solution, this is the one.

I only have it done when the tech is here, which has never been when the machine wasn't under warranty. I had my JV3 for about 7 years and never calibrated it once. It hadn't given me a reason to.

I've seen this over the years too. I've just decided to tell the customer to go use that company because I can't touch that price, and 75% of the time, they'll use me anyway.

Those "specs" sound like lots of American's I see.

I only do them for a couple of family members that race, and we use cheap 3621 removable vinyl with no laminate, and they love it even installing it themselves. It wouldn't matter what you'd use, even if it's the best cast vinyl with laminate, soon as a tire rub happens, it's toast.

I didn't read through all of these, but I like it long as you don't have to do it out of cut vinyl. Anything that "fades away" that you have to do in vinyl on a vehicle or something, seems to always bite me in the butt, so I quit doing it when possible.

Yep, that looks right...now where can I buy convex material or find someone who already has this that can print it for me? None of my normal suppliers carry it, so I assume it's not available too easily.
