  2. to laminate or not to laminate

For your first statement: I pay $0.32 per sq ft for a good quality calendered lam. I dont think my suppliers have anything cheaper and on jobs where i do laminate i would not want to put on a cheap lam either. So that ends up being $0.96 on a 18"x24". plus your waste. On one or two signs the...
  3. to laminate or not to laminate

That doesn't cut it here Flame. My understanding is this is for a real estate agent? There is no loyalty with these people (not here anyways) ... We are not talking about their car graphics or other specialty items that you would want to protect and make a good job. But their lawns signs .. They...
  4. to laminate or not to laminate

Coroplaste real estate signs? No way i laminate those. Agents want them as cheap as they can get it. Your print, unlaminated will last at least three years before it starts fading. Your coroplaste will deteriorate after two. You do the math.

  6. wrapping over a wrap... any specific concerns I should be aware of?

I would suspect they used a foam brush to lay on some liquid clear. Where the clear is less thick the ink has faded more. Personnaly i wouldn't install over this. The chances of failure (sections or whole) are to great.

My shop has AC but i left my experienced guy to work in it. I was actually outside today with another guy installing a 6'x8' sign, x3 - 4'x6' signs and a couple of aluminum signs. I was happy we were not on one big job, outside all day .. we could put up each sign in about a hour each. So we...

Thank you Thank You!:notworthy: Happy Canada Day to everybody :toasting: No HST in Québec ... Our politicians always wait a little longer to see how the other provinces will do and then they adjust things to make it a little better for themselves. Meaning we get screwed just a bit more.
