When we talk about wide ... it is left to right ... when we talk about high ... it is up and down. His signs are not 24"wide x 18" high. They are 18" wide x 24" high ... His submission was wrong. And another thing ... Why on earth would you submit your artwork on a 90 degree angle. Wouldn't it...
The way i interpret this is ... When they are asking for your sign dimensions they are starting with the assumption that you are looking at the sign. How "wide" is it and how "high" is it. So when you look at your sign and not the artwork .... it is 18"wide x 24"high. When they are asking for...
Just yesterday i received a bunch of purchase orders through it and also had to fax an invoice copy since a customer's e-mail system was down. Appart from the annoying solicitation faxes i would say i still need it dealing with big/older established customers.

@ Signmeup: The grid appeared on the first version of 180. It does not have it anymore.
Personaly i would use a product with a more agressive adhesive than 3M's wrapping material.
Oh and ... Welcome from Québec.

I thought you didn't mind if it was a smaller event or bigger. Sucks man that you want to reschedule. Late august/september is pretty much the only time i can go since the rest of the year can be quite busy for me.
Bummer.
It's late sunday night and i am a little drunk (mmm .. maybee more than that .. shhh shut up ... its my birfthday!). But it's to far for me to send him a card ,, either post his phone number on here so i can give him a call or PM me and i will call him and talk to him for a while ... Love you all!
