  1. Your website?

Well... A loading thing appears first and when it finishes a black thing appears with a sharpie and a roll of green fishing line and then a strip of pictures hinges up from it and I can click the pictures to get a gallery to look at. What's the black thing? It looks like some sort of electronic...
  2. Anyone else find this odd?

That reminds me of the movie "Signs". Great movie.
  3. Your website?

I haven't been to any other websites in this thread that wouldn't load. I'd say Carter has a problem. It didn't work in the first and second most popular browsers on the planet. At least on my computer.
  4. Your website?

Geeeezuz. Carter that site apears to be blank in IE except for your resume and facebook "like" button and it froze Firefox when I tried to click the signs button.

  6. Coro-Plane lift off Sunday

Bob, look up the Woodhopper. It was a Popular Mechanics ultra light you built from plans. Has to be the simplest home built yet. You might get some good ideas off it.

  9. Wanting to build a thermoforming machines vacuum forming machines

The one I built is 16" x 24". I've made thousands of parts with it. It is a 2 stage vac system. It uses a vacuum cleaner motor for the first stage (low vac/high volume) and a tank to store high vacuum created with a vac pump. The heating is done with a house hold dryer element plugged into 220...

  14. hippomovies...is this really legal?

Proxys again! Sure seems crooked. Thanks!
  15. Our new site went live today too.

I find it is very difficult to see a website as a customer would. I suspect that a website designer sees different things on a website than my typical customer (or me). I think a website designer might be more concerned with the technical/gee-whizz aspects of the site rather than the content. (I...
  16. hippomovies...is this really legal?

It never occured to me to sign up for netflix or Hulu with a proxy server. Good tip. So about this Hippo place.... how can I tell if it's bogus? Just because it said it's legal? (actually I didn't notice that statement on the site)
  17. hippomovies...is this really legal?

Is this movie download site really legal? They want money for the service. How do they do it if it isn't legit? http://www.hippomovies.com/
  18. How do you un-roll giant lexan sign faces?

Gino... that's gayer than mixed martial arts. I borrowed a cargo van and leaned the panels against a sheet of plywood up against the side of the van.
  19. How do you un-roll giant lexan sign faces?

Please.... elaborate. What is a squeeze clamp?
  20. How do you un-roll giant lexan sign faces?

Beats me. My next thread will be "How do you roll up giant lexan panels?". I think it will involve 3 fat guys and beer. (just a guess)
