Actually, I do have the business interruption on my insurance... great point Gino! I will definitely track all my hours spent cleaning up and re-ordering materials. They want original invoices for everything also, so that will take some time too! Thanks for the tip... I don't think I would have...
Thanks for all the comments! YEP... it's good to have insurance! They said I'm definitely covered for this circumstance with $1000 deductible. That's just fine! It's the down-time that sucks! I managed to salvage 2 rolls of material plus the one roll that is on the printer, so I'm not 100%...
Well... not the way I was looking forward to starting my week! Come into the office this morning to find out there was a water valve leak in my production/storage area and there is a LOT of water damage! It's overwhelming right now, but I would estimate over $20K in damage to supplies &...
LOL... It'd be tough to do those this year! We are headed to Phoenix towards the end of October and again from December 25 to January 7th! But I'll never give up the hope of connecting some day soon!
I actually chat more with Doug & Gigi on FB than on here!! I haven't posted a lot on here lately... although I read DAILY! Crazy busy life and like Gigi... we have been venturing into new things.
Hey Gigi... what's up? When we gonna get together? :Big Laugh
Thinking (even more), I can't help but wonder if you've installed the incorrect printer driver. Your printer shows as "Okidata Colour Laser"... mine shows up as "Oki C330dn".... If your driver just represents a "generic" Okidata Colour Laser printer, that would explain why the driver is not...
There lies your main problem. What printer driver version you running? Is it 2.0.0.0? I just downloaded the driver THIS MORNING from OKI and installed it, and it just worked! I'm running OSX 10.7.4 at the moment.
I gotta thank you for bringing up your issue! I've had this printer for a while...
So... the dot pattern in the green & blue are normal, right?! You are using CMYK to make a certain colour and the dots are normal... Your green is 29% C and 100% Y, thus the blue dots in your yellow to obtain the green tint you need.
Not sure if you've tried the higher res setting.
Click the...
Just to follow up... I also went directly to the OKI website and got the latest driver (version 2.0.0.0) for the printer... Did you go that route or use the disk that came with the printer? I never use the disks... they are the first thing to hit the garbage!! :Big Laugh From the looks of your...
Okay... hooked the printer up and ran a test... I'm getting solid colours. Do you mind sending me your file to try? Not that it makes a difference.... but I'm running Illustrator CS6 on a Mac. Send your file to me (tim@kkcalgary.com), and I'll try printing your file and see what I get. Here's...
What model Okidata printer is it? I have an Okidata laser and have no issues with it. Let me know the model number and let's see if it's the same as mine!
Here's a link to a video I made a couple years ago. It's how I wrap my canvas prints. I've taken a lot of flack for calling them "Gallery Wraps", but I still stand by it. It's "new school" and I've not had a complaint from a customer yet!!
Just another option for you! :rock-n-roll...
Great information. I'll try that when the next head comes up for replacement! I hate replacing heads when the image quality still looks stunning! I'm funny that way! :Big Laugh
I leave my computers (home and office) on 24/7! Always have, always will! Don't worry much any more about wearing out HDD's (at the office anyhow), as I use SSD's now! I think you'll still find a lot of folks shut down daily... to each their own!
Huge congrats to you all! Changing lifestyle and shedding unwanted weight is not an easy task, but no matter your age, it is possible! I know what you mean by the emotions Marlene! It's not an easy road, but the rewards are well worth it!
Just an FYI... my wife (Wendy) also hit the official...
