Thanks for all the information and the update Suz. This is a very interesting thread for sure! I am (still) running Onyx with tremendous success, but you have my interest piqued on this Shiraz RIP. I'd never heard of it before. Wonder what $$$ it would be? The fact that it runs on Mac...
Just wanted to share that as of Saturday, July 7th, 2012 I am officially a member of the Isagenix 100lb. Club having released 101.2 lbs. to date! Another 25 or so to go for my goal weight! :clapping::clapping: :Big Laugh
That sounds like a great idea. After all, it really is nothing but a "fancy" bucket, right? :roll eyes: As for the cleaning kit, I will usually replace it at 100% just to avoid any potential issues. They aren't that expensive and they do last a long, long time!
Thought I'd share yet another Big Squeegee video I made today. Mounting 4' x 4' vinyl onto coroplast using a 50" big squeegee. Forgive the fact that I cut my head off in the video!

Get a Big Squeegee... you won't regret it! Those who know me, know that I love making my little videos... so...
Here's my latest video made today mounting 48" x 48" posters onto coroplast. Took me all of 5 minutes to mount 4 of them! For small runs, nothing beats it! :thumb::popcorn...
Then, of course, you'll want to grommet the banner. Goes very fast when the marks are printed on the banner. Just a quick snippet!

(tape) Hemming a 4' x 14' Banner on a 4' x 8' Table in under 11 minutes! Sure, this will be boring to some of you, but others might find it interesting.
One thing I should note... I applied the Onyx Sign & Banner plug-in to the banner artwork in Illustrator prior to ripping...
Hi JR,
It's just a sticky cloth (available at any hardware store paint section) wrapped around a piece of wood. Makes for a very quick swipe over the coro prior to mounting vinyl or a print! :thumb:
Well, another year, another Calgary Stampede RUSH!!
Lots of banners and signs this year. On job in particular was a request for a bunch of cut vinyl signage mounted to coro. I am finding my Big Squeegee especially helpful with this and thought I'd share this little video. Mounting letters to...
You know... in the time it's taken you to post all these reply's and the original thread, you could have had most of the work done for the customer... so stop wasting time on here!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
But seriously... I agree with Pat's assessment. If they want that much detail, the...
Here's our cutter in action. Used to do all business cards on this. It worked fine, don't get me wrong, but it was slower than the slitter, and it doesn't take long to dull the blade when cutting lots of cards every day! The cutter still gets a good daily work-out with other work! :smile...
Thanks! Once you use it as much as I have, it gets to be very, very easy to use. I've done up to a 4' x 8' mount single handed with the big squeegee. You definitely need a good, LEVEL table to do that size!
I will NEVER compete with the low-ball prices, and I don't want to! I did some calculations last month (which bye the way, made me change my mind about the decision to move the shop out of downtown), and for my downtown customers alone, I do an average of $6,000 per month in business card...
You know, in the last 18 months, I have probably donated well over $3000 worth of clothes to my local Goodwill. And don't get me started on how many clothes Wendy has donated... To date, between the two of us, we've released 175 lbs.!!! :omg: Seriously, I've never in my life heard furniture...
