Suppose that I wanted to switch to another program and maintain access to the Flexi and Casmate files fron the past twenty something years? I know that I loose keeping fonts as fonts and they get converted to vectors when converted to EPS, but that's workable. I'm wondering about a means to...
Spot color is selected from a number of lists of standard ink or ribbon
colors provided by established suppliers.
The swatches in the swatch tables change appearance based on the
color mode in use. Spot colors have a small dot on the right side of the
swatch. Duotone colors have two dots on the...
With all the new computers going 64 bit, do I need a 64 bit version of Flexi to run on them? If so, what is the oldest and most stable version in 64 bit. Currently I'm using 7.6.2 and happy with it. I don't print. What are my alternatives?
I'm still using 7.62 and finding it working fine with Windows 7 Professional on a 32 bit version. I had way too many problems on the 64 bit, but many claim it works.
I'm sending images to be printed and if I enlarge an image to be printed, what tools are available to prevent the print from blurring with the enlarged pixels? How can I increase the resolution so the image remains clear? I'm using 7.62
Thank you for help
I've replaced my cutting strip with one I made from sandblast rubber and it works fine. I use my machine for making pounce patterns, so I replace it every three years.
I'm happy with my old 7.62 version. I don't print and investing in the newer versions offers me close to nothing that I can't do now...except, I want to buy a new cutter and the old Flexi does'nt have drivers for the new plotters. Anyone have any ideas ?
C-61 is what you need to install non electrical signs, C-45 for electric. I thought it was four years of certified experience, at least it was when I did it. The qualifications that you described are all pertaining to the design side of the signs, not the mechanical. When you're wiring someone's...
Bobby Fosson at CS Supply might still sell Flexi. My experience is that I buy from who provides the most knowledgeable support and will be there for me when I need it. I used to get that from JSI, but they decided to provide support for those that buy their vinyl and the equipment doesn't count...
How many of you folks cut the heavier rubber, like the Anchor 155, with your Summa?
How does it cut? How does it track? How often does it skew and cost you material?
What about making pounce patterns? How fast is it? Does it make enough noise that you can't hear the radio?
Phil @ Summa thinks...
I have an FC 7000 and am wanting to replace it and considering another brand. Graphtec seems to be a different company than who I started with several plotters ago.
