I was half way through a 3'x8' banner when Ink started appearing on the left edge of the banner, then the colors started to get weird/faded. I then stopped the machine and cleaned the ink up. Could this be a busted line or pump issue. I just want to get some thoughts before I start taking it apart.

check your cut size(1) against what your cut area is. You can have the machine self adjust to actual cutting width by clicking here(2)

Are you cutting on 15" material? If so, maybe the pinch rollers are not spaced far enough apart.

back in the day... we would use Frog Juice Spray on an edge decal to extend the life.

I have used Gerber vinyl, both 220 & Quantum 2000 are good products. Never had any issues.

this may not be a fix, but have you tried slowing the machine down to see what happens...just throwing that out there.

I have been out sourcing to a MM here for a while with great results. I picked up this printer for what I thought was a fair price. All colors come out "blotchy" when printing through the RIP Software. Maybe I will get in there & start changing settings, can't get any worse right?

First thing today was run cleaning cycle. Then print from FutureRIP(terrible quality), then print using the Mutoh Utility(good quality) I think it is something with the RIP Settings, or Profile somehow.

it looks like it is cutting to deep. Also try slowing the machine down.
