you can check with Stouse, not sure they can go that large, but maybe.
  2. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

well, no luck so far with soak & cleaning cycles. I do feel the Solvent cleaner is doing more than the Alcohol, by the looks of the rag(more black on the rag now). I printed a 2"x28" block of black and as previously mentioned it looks good(cmyk all printing). Same issue with text & graphics...
  3. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

artbot, the black actually does have banding(can't see it real from my pic). I print tiff files.

  5. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

good info. guys. This happens with other fonts/graphics. I have been using alcohol as a soak but will switch to the cleaning solvent and do several more 15-20 min soaks & strong cleanings for the rest of the day then park the head and pull with the syringe. We will see what happens...
  6. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

I did notice that when doing the soak that it seemed there was not (what I would consider) enough black ink on the rag. Anybody second the motion of an over night head soak?
  7. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

    image attached. looks bad.
  8. Oracal 751

Suggest Gerber Vinyl. Have you tried cleaning the 751 with alcohol prior to printing?
  9. Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black

Falcon Outdoor Jr. Black is giving me an issue. I have attached a pic but not sure you can see it. What is happening is there is a slight (for better word) "space" as the print is not completely closing to the right. I am suspecting maybe some clogged nozzles. I did 2 - 15 min head soaks then...

  11. Mutoh Falcon Jr where to start first

personally I would do a head soak then powerful cleanings(at least 2)as previously mentioned before changing parts.
  12. Mutoh Falcon Jr where to start first

Here is what I have done... when pulling from the waste line you need to gently push the carriage to have it make a good vacuum. So, if you are facing the machine from the front you would gently push and hold to the --------> right toward the "Home" position you will be able to feel when it...

  16. Anti-Graffiti Laminated Vinyl Print

I have a customer looking for an Anti-Graffiti Laminated Vinyl Print(3'x6'). My normal outsource company does not carry this laminate and I would like to not buy a whole roll of laminate that would sit in the corner. Does anyone know of an outsource for these? Thanks.
  17. Anyone Else Think?

I don't know if this is a coincidence, but I just replaced a Black cartridge the other day and after printing some heavy Black coverage banners I am having issues with loosing Black. Had been printing great until these Black banners.
  18. Roland PC 600

I have one I use as a back up cutter. I would remove one of the zeros from the asking price. You can get a good pre-owned solvent printer in the 2k range.
  19. Yellow discoloring for first few passes

post some pics of the print. There are a lot of people on here that can tell whats going on by looking at the output. Believe me, I just had trouble with my PrismJet Extra, but received very valuable input here.
  20. sign help ????

Chalk this one up to learning experience. Might have been easier to use 040 Aluminum to cover the sign with the new graphics applied. Covering existing vinyl/lam in an exterior environment with more vinyl is asking for trouble. So, either try another layer of yellow or 040.
