  1. Taking Graphics off plexi when cold or hot

Test the Rapid Remover on the plexi 1st. but it hasn't harmed any lexan or acrylic I've used it on. I'm sure there are chemicals out there that will cloud or harm the plexi but not Rapid Remover in my experiance. Check with Roger (roger@rapidtac.com) before you do anything.
  2. Belichoke?

Still can't believe he did that. Has to be one of the worst calls in his career. Patriots Nation is in shock.

  6. Food Bank sign destroyed

You could carefull route a slot in the top and bottom edges and epoxy in a piece of 1/4" X 1-1/2" flat stock to strengthen it. Perhaps an article in the local newspaper to cronicle the volunteer work it took to create the sign as well as the repair effort.
  7. Global "Charter for Compassion" & a Letterhead project

It is pretty cool Doug. The kind of work that make people stop and think whne they see it.
  8. Vinyl problem on Conestoga trailers

I would think it has to do with the "streach" of the fabric under the vinyl. If you put a heavy pull on a regular banner with cut vinyl you will see the vinyl pop from the fabric when the sun hits it. Sounds like the same thing.

I never worked for another sign shop, just opened my own. SignManiac, Fred and others: Very well stated. I thought I knew something about layout until I started on Signs 101. Sitting back watching layouts get the once over, and some a lot more, has taught me a great deal. I've bought and read the books recommended, and I keep a couple of them on my...

  14. Banners 101

Why would you bother to get into the business when "Some A-hole" will just undercut your prices to the point where you can't make money and will go out? Of course they may be distracted by their new building business. How do I get my tounge unstuck from in my cheek, if you know what I mean...

  19. Vinyl on freshly painted vehicles

A poor paint job is a poor paint job. The low end shops save on labor and on materials when they paint. Sloppy prepration, less expensive paint, no hardners all will cause the transfer tape to pull up the new paint or outgassing of the paint thinners. No warranty at all.
