I like what these guys have...but what do I have to do to order from them? Can I order direct or am I going to have to be referred to someone that they're setup with?
I had a customer come in wanting printed foam footballs (the mini Nerf-like ones) and I told him I'd have to do some research. Does anyone know of a wholesale place, or am I basically just going to need to use whoever comes up on google?
I tried doing a search, but all I got was a ton of Tim...
I bought my business from my grandparents for 25K. They had a 13" Gerber Plotter and a Packard Bell w/ Windows 95 on it, (this was 6.5 years ago) but still, old old technology at that point. They had been in business for 25 years, and had a great customer base. Not knowing near as much then...
I agree with Eric (and lots of others here). I do feel like every kids is different though, and having two kids, I'm reminded more and more of that every day.
I think it was totally stupid for him to handle it this way first off. Generally, kids that act like that, (I'm just saying generally...
I use NTR Cloud. It's free, and it works great if you only need to acess one PC. I think you can pay if you need more. I can access it on my iPhone, iPad, or any other computer by logging into the website.
We did a lease w/ the $1 buyout seven years ago. My accountant recommended it. It's different for everyone, and YOU are the one assuming the responsibility. Talk to YOUR sources and do what works for YOU.
I'm looking into the OSHA blanks. I sent an email to Keith @ I45 to get a price on it to give to the customer. It'll probably be double or a little more than the PVC, but it'll last a really long time in comparison.
He says it was INSTALLED for 25 years. That's why I can't figure it out. I asked him if it was shaded a lot or something, and he said no. He said he had faded some, but I know most PVC fades to almost white within like 4 years, so I don't know. You interested in pricing me aluminum that's 6"...
They're coming out to like $3 each from Stouse retail price...I don't think it's worth messing with what an aluminum cost would be for something like that.
Just realized I could order these from stouse. Polyetheylene Signs, anyone ordered these from them? They say they won't shatter...probably cause it's such thin material in comparison. This one the customer brought in is 1/8".
I had a fence installer in town come in and need 75 signs to put up on fences that they install. I was hoping to possibly sub these out to someone (if I can figure out what materials work best) but what he brought me was a piece of Sintra/PVC. He said he'd had some yellow ones that my grandpa...
We started as a home based business, and moved into a downtown retail location five years ago. As far as more customers, I probably do have more...but I sure feel like I used to do a lot more bigger jobs, and now, it feels like everyone stops in for a "birthday banner" and it really ticks me off.
I had a bunch of circles to do once for basketball, and a bunch of footballs for a football team. I found someone with a waterjet, and just gave him the blanks and he cut them all out for me. Worked out well. The ones that were lower in the pile got a little more jagged I assume cause the...
That's too awesome. I love it that they actually installed it. Could have at least left the "In Arabic" part off. Maybe it was an annoying boss that never followed up on anything, and this was their lesson.
