  1. Raising heads on a JV3

I did come across your posts, but I wasn't sure I wanted to get that elaborate with it when I just needed a TAD more to not have head strikes on this stuff. It could be a matter of cranking up the heat or lowering it too I guess to get it to lay right.
  2. Raising heads on a JV3

Someone else said that I had some kind of aftermarket parts for dampers. I don't get that because it came straight from Advantage and they set it up. I did notice that I was never able to move it much before...so that would make sense. You mean the black screws next to the long plastic rods...
  3. Raising heads on a JV3

I know that there is a "thick" and "thin" setting on my JV3, but I had to take a bunch of cover parts off because I was having issues, and just wanted to be able to keep a eye on my lines going into the damper and print heads. I tried putting all the parts back on once, but didn't ever have any...
  4. I'm gonna ask this dumb question...

I would guess that you can't find anything on it because there is no way to do it...unless you just want to print in black...but then you'd probably have to trick the printer into thinking it had ink. Just my two cents, I have no clue...but I'm assuming it can't be done and that's why you...
  5. Joke

What did the router say to the doctor? It hurts when IP.
  6. Just a reminder, hard drive crashed Friday.

I bought my setup from Advantage when I got my printer. Supposedly it's got a RAID setup that it's backing up everything I do just copying over to another set of HD's. Hope they didn't lie to me! I still back up my customer files every now and then on an external...but I'd lose everything...
  7. Bad company.....lajit graphics

Said the one who didn't get screwed and got a smoking deal on equipment.
  8. need to outsource corplast screenprint signs

I45. Normally ships out same day for me when I order in the morning. Awesome service.
  9. iFactory the very first look at the Apple factory

Extra douche points for this one.
  10. Mimaki Latex printer

All I know is my JV3 is now 7 years old and still going strong. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Mimaki if I ever upgrade. Not sure that day will ever come w/ all the subs I now have access to, but if it does...I have no reason I wouldn't buy a mimaki.
  11. know your software/equipment

I think you can. The ones that are browser based, seems like long as it's seeing the internet through the browser, you can take control.
  12. Gold Rush...don't hate me.

And decide to marry four women, then have 19 kids, then teach them to hunt gators.
  13. Is this a crazy low bid for a wrap?

Either way, I told her I'd pass and to let me know when they have another project I'd be glad to bid on. I just refuse to work for free.
  14. Need a logo designed

LOL, sorry, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I read it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxuBhemD3nk You are still my #1 guy to go to Phillip! Still looking for someone to cover this type work under a couple of day circumstances though if this does bring up someone.
  15. Is this a crazy low bid for a wrap?

It's for Habitat for Humanity...so I'm going to think nicer instead of uglier and hope someone is just working for free on purpose and is donating everything but the material.
  16. Need a logo designed

    Phillip.
  17. Is this a crazy low bid for a wrap?

I guess I wasn't going to get into specifics on price, that's why it's open. I just wondered if that was a lowball price. I'm ok moving it if Fred wants to...even though he already had to move it once! I assumed it was crazy low, but just wanted to make sure.
  18. Is this a crazy low bid for a wrap?

I had someone contact me about a wrap last week. I normally basically don't even bother figuring up a cost because in the past, every price they get is basically giving away the material and their time. I wouldn't be printing my wrap in house, so maybe that's where the problem lies. I added...
  19. Have you given your big squeegee a hug today?

I just laid down (16) 4' X 4' prints in a matter of what seemed a couple hours. That included my normal distractions in the office, and eating lunch. Every time I have a bunch like that to do, I remember the good ole days when it took forever, and still had a couple wrinkles in it. It was...
  20. Are we really in a recession???

We seem to be busier for this time of year, it's normally dead till the first warm day, but it hasn't hardly gotten cold this winter. All my realtors and auction company's went strong through the winter, and that's a good chunk of my work. Still not what it was 6 years ago when I first bought...
