or ink splatter on ribbons or on the head?
ink is conductive & the solvent dissolves the insulation.
we are not an onyx shop, we use flexi for everything.
is it possible you need to setup a second port (9100 for the printing/rip file)
some of the networked printer/scanner copiers do this, (konica or kyocera, something beginning with a "k")
scanning and printing on different port.
can i go out on a limb & assume, even though the lines do not show air bubbles, the damper is emptying?
if the damper is empty, pump could be clogged (or lines from captop to pump or pump to waste container)
have we done things as simple as agitate the inks?
replace the magenta with...
i think that post was moze
he and i had a disagreement about the 60volt cordless earth augers
that's because our part of new jersey was filled with rocks the size you used to see the lone ranger shooting from behind...

message me, i have (4) pc600's & need the space (clearing out clutter)

I BELIEVE all print heads are good
i am not sure it will go up (although DX2 printheads went way up. in 2019 i paid $1400 for a pair of heads, due to scarcity
i think people will still be using the edge for quite a while. i did a small window lettering job for an old friend in 1995.
we removed the vinyl (red & black) about 2...
this is probably your lucky day
i posted a month or so back, we have (4) of these, 3 pc-600's and 1 pc-60 (same machine type, different electronics) & i never did anything with them. we have 3 gerber edge & use them for this type of printing
AS FAR AS I KNOW, all heads are good,

wouldn't you keep your foils?
there are adapters for the fx & i would think these are colors that are used for your existing client base.
assuming all the clients are repeat buyers (perhaps a big assumption) you would end up spending approx. $10,000 replacing them, OVER TIME
i have about 65...
yes, the reseller has to do his homework.
i have been a computer consultant for about 35 years.
these days, we still provide oversight for clients who now use a large MSP for day to day tasks.
a long running theme, is that many of these companies, after 10 years of billing
i only disagree...
i have been considering a way of building the good/better/best into our quotes (perhaps a template that prints in 3 colors to highlight the difference & upgrades
i am currently making a pricing sheet for different materials with some sort of "quick ship" option, so clients know that...
most important thing when shipping an edge is the shipping bracket that protects the ceramic printhead
it is fragile, like shipping one of your grandmother's christmas ornaments or a Faberge egg.
i normally will travel to pick one up, if practical, when i buy one
other than the protective...
the envison is quite a piece of engineering, as is the FX
what plotter do you cut with now? we have several edges and use the "bombsite" to align when we go to cut with a gs15, (i believe that's the correct model)
i think the envison and the new technology of the FX makes it a good...
do you mean row or column?
are you off in the direction the media moves, or the direction the carriage moves.
a case could be made (a doubtful one!) that the encoder is bad, if you were off in the direction the carriage travels
you are more likely to find omeone with,a 9600, which print 44" wide as well
you are more likely to find someone by posting on an epson photo printing site or inkjetmall.com
they have "community" or user forums
are there still epson photo dye inks available?
we still have a 24"
if you like...
