  1. I want to pull my hair out!

Whenever people have called me wanting jobs like this, they generally end up in a disaster because the customer wants it yesterday, didn't really think through what it should have really been, and then I have to beg for my money. I will still do them if they sign off on everything and pay up...
  2. Who's putting up the Sign?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That's like sending someone else to go get your license for you. You don't need him as a customer. People that are this much work, aren't hardly EVER worth the amount of time that you quoted on the job because they are professional time wasters...
  3. yard sign vinyl

Either 3621 w/ a Big Squeegee, or sub them out...which is what I'd do. That's way too many to make money on in doing them in vinyl. If they have pictures, flat bed them.
  4. CHEAP (or NOT) Roland!

My favorite part is at the bottom..."A Non Profit".
  5. Customer Humor

I had a guy come in last year sometime, they were building a fire station, and they wanted me to order letters from Gemini for it. I said no problem, let me see what you need me to quote, he hands me the papers, and takes off out the door cause he's got important things to do apparently instead...
  6. Roland vs Mimaki

I have a JV3 that I bought...just going on about 5 years ago now. The only thing that I have ever done to it is put new pumps in it, which come to find out, is normal wear and tear. I'm not sure how long my heads will last, but my test print still is a perfect print...so I'm hoping a while...
  7. Ugh, another day with a supplier that is failing.

We've been getting almost everything other than ink (because they don't carry what I converted to) from Advantage. Prices are very aggressive now, and they've been great to me ever since buying my printer.
  8. big squeegee

Call Dale...he'll tell ya the best. I've got like 12 different ones.
  9. Help with Spanish translation...

The only spanish I ever learned in High School was this..."Escuchen, esto es un robo!" And I only learned it because a kid in my other class said it, and I thought it sounded hilarious like something I could use in life. I was right...I just now used it. Not to mention if I ever fly to Mexico...
  10. Cheap wrap company van critique please

I didn't even see anything at first because I thought it was Camo...I was like, woh, that camo is so good, I don't see ANYTHING, but then once everyone said birds...it because glorious.
  11. Photo Tex is Junk!!

    That's what I'm talkin' about.
  12. Chicago is... WINNING!

Only in America can you act like a complete tool, and make huge money on it. That guy's a mental case. I'm scared to see what rock bottom is for him...but I wouldn't think we'd know it even if he hit it...
  13. Happy Birthday Kraig!

Just saw this! Thanks for the Birthday wishes. My mom had surgery for cancer that they'd found, so we've been at the hospital hanging out w/ her for my birthday. Nothing like getting to keep your mom around for a birthday present!
  14. You can kiss your T-mobile plan goodbye...

No more small cable company's. All being bought out as well.
  15. Big squeegee

I forget how many of them I have, either 12 or 14, best tools in my shop!
  16. Does anyone else get waste o'time emails?

We tend to get them from the same people several times a year. If it's something standard and easy to quote, I'll quote it...but sometimes it's all custom and I know it's about bottom dollar and I'm not the cheapest, so I won't even waste my time quoting it. Have several like that that have...
  17. You can kiss your T-mobile plan goodbye...

Don't get your panties in a wad YET. They still have to approve it.
  18. Photo Tex is Junk!!

We have used phototex for several years. Works great for us on a weekly basis. Not sure what your issue is but does sound like it's just not clean.
  19. Gypsy Graphics...

I'm so friggin lost right now.
  20. Blades for cutters

I just ordered from these guys. I like it that they make their own stuff, and understand how it works. I always ordered from my supplier in the past, and hated the blades.
