Chemetal makes some realy nice laminates. www.chemetalco.com if you call or e-mail them, they will send you a key ring of them. check out the webiste, click on finishes then on the designer collection. the screen doesn't do it justice, but #230 moonscape is a nice pretty copper that is textured.

Durafoam (closed cell) can be used outside. I don't make my own but have purchased cut dimensional letters from Polyplastic Forms. we have some out there that we have painted using Latex paint that are still OK. the birds and such do a number on them but other than that, they are OK.

just wanted to add that since I put the drop of oil in the little hole in the photo, the plotter has been cutting like it is brand new. there's no wavy straight lines and centers of "o" line up perfectly! thanks again Fred for taking the time to help!
