That's a frequent COREL problem........ if a line of text is converted to curves and combined, it must be brokern aprt and each character contoured individually.......... unless you have FLEXI then you wouldn't be contouring in COREL anyway.

You're not done cleaning up anyway........... smooth these areas out first and see what happens.
