People come in my shop all the time to get signs for their new "business" and we often label them this way. Most only make it a month or two, cause they are catering to the "bar fly" crowd, and they ain't got any money (on average)
+on mathews, if it is raw alumium prime it with the correct primer. The primer is the key to making it hold on.
In the past I have covered the faces of metal letters with film (left the sides raw) cool look.

It sucks to say ths but even if you go to court and win, if they are broke a$$'s then you are still not going to get paid. I have several judgments for peeps that owe the Mosh. I have leans on property and cars. Most don't have jobs so garnishing wages doesn't work.
