Your "outline".... is called a "contour"......select contour from the effects dropdown....a dialog flout will open specifying how much countour you want.....then fron the "arrange" dropdown..."break apart"....this will give you a separate object. Also, if you add an outline...."create outline...

It was in windows security..... something about.....click to bypass SHIFT key at startup....I didnt mean to click it.......I tried all of the above....I'm in DOS now...and have logged on.... don't no what to do at the prompt.

I was fiddle-farting around and clicked something that I wasn't supposed to. When I turn on the machine,I get the blue screeen where my Admin logon is supposed to be......but it's not there.....

I don't know about the XP issue but I would advise you... to do a CMYK test print with the seller to make sure that there are no blown pixels. It think it was around $3000 to replace the head.

Brand new Jay................ I decided to check the BIOS and the serial port was "disabled". The day before it was working fine. It just up and changed itself.

Yeh I know...... but I had it to where there were paragraph text boxes with no visible print in them.

my computer surged yesterday and I lost all of my preferences. Anyone know how to get rid of the text that visible in these text boxes??

Let me ammend this by saying...... I used to run Gerber equipment with a GERBER serial cable...... I never had to change it......there should be no reason why I couldn't get a regular new serial.....I was just in GERBER mode. Everything runs now.....the BIOS thing still has me stumped.

Bios..... anyone have a clue why my serial port would be disabled if I haven't been in the BIOs?????? :help:
