  1. Printable clear vinyl

I print on Oracal's 290GF with good results to do reverse mounted graphics backed up by white and over metallic films. Re-reading your post I think gloss would not look that good on a wall application, matt or luster would be better. wayne k guam usa
  2. Multi Copies?

Sure Select all the items in the unzipped folder (tiler.gms tiler_lg.bmp tiler_sm.bmp) Edit drop down > Move to folder The .gms file needs to go to the Draw GMS sub folder. (The 2 bmp bitmaps are just to set the custom icons for the buttons & can go anyplace) If Draw is installed in the default...
  3. Multi Copies?

Colin go here and download the tiler script: http://www.oberonplace.com/vba/drawmacros/tiler.htm It works with X5 and will do what you want and more. Once installed go to Customization>Commands>Macros and drag the tiler icon into the workspace or toolbar you want it to show up in, and or assign...

  5. What computer should I get?

I have an older dual core XP machine and a newer quad core 64bit win7 machine. The difference in speed editing large complex vector and bitmap files provided by customers (who have no interest in optimizing files for print or edit) makes editing on the dual core a waste of time. Same editing...
  6. Do you leave your printer on 24/7?

I turn mine off (1304) Not to save power or ink. When I first got it I left it on - set to sleep with some media under the rollers. It would wake up, clean and then go back to sleep. Came in one morning and it was crying that it was low on ink and had stopped in the middle of the cleaning cycle...

  12. Watch me trace

Bobby, you have me beat I have only been using Draw since version 3. This is nit picking but we are talking about node editing with the pick tool after all. Go to Tools>Customization> Commands>Edit - scroll down to the node tracking icon & assign it a hot key to toggle it on/off. Or drag it...
  13. freakin' worthless lowlife deadhead

Doug, if you do go that route, put all your latex gear on first, then attempt the head change - just be sure to film it for us and include the sound track (in stereo this time). wayne k guam usa
  14. Watch me trace

Bobby thanks for the reply. I think the main issue is preferred workflow and familiarity with the software. Most of what you have there are non-issues to long time Draw users. It's just a matter of how someone has been trained and what they like to use. Zoom for me is the center scroll wheel...
  15. Watch me trace

I have watched a couple from this same guy. I don't think I am missing too many editing options that is why I asked Bobby what he sees missing between the 2. I am left handed so I have all my drawing, node editing shortcuts mapped to keys on the lower right side of the keyboard so I never have...
  16. Watch me trace

CorelDRAW doens't have good keyboard short cuts for its pen tool. You don't have as many options for adjusting the path while you draw it. And the program's long time lack of standard zoom-in/zoom-out/hand panning short cuts can be aggravating, especially if you're working at a very tight zoom...
  17. Soften edges

If you convert that white rectangle to a bitmap with the transparent background option checked then apply a gaussian blur you will get that exact same effect. If you want it to keep it vector you could do an outside contour and set the color to go from white to the background color. Would work...

  19. Why word spacing matters

According to my trusty gang awareness handbook that could be a sign of trouble: HAND SIGNS Hand signs, often referred to as gang signs, were first used by Chinese Triads several hundred years ago. Black gang members introduced hands signs to the gang culture in the mid-1970s in Los Angeles. It...

I could add heels & a skirt to my list of equipment but I'm thinking that might not be a good selling point for a 52yr old man..... wayne k guam usa
