  1. IL Conceal & Carry

Although you are well within your right to limit weapons on premises would you actually want to face the lawyers in the case I previously mentioned? Something else to wrap your head around. With the advent of CC why are business owners suddenly scared of guns in their establishments. In...
  2. What's a good deal on a new 1324?

If you have to spend extra to get local service do it. I learned that one the extremely painful way.
  3. IL Conceal & Carry

Point here is concealed means concealed. Only law abiding conscientious people pay attention to those signs or wishes of the store owner. The other point people fail to realize is those signs are an advertisement to criminals for a Gun Free Zone. I find it ironic that people are worried...
  4. Wrapped eggs.

Looks tasty. Forget the HDL/LDL. LOL!
  5. IL Conceal & Carry

Here is an interesting tidbit of legalize. I happened to meet one of the involved parties when I took the CCW class. It was a compelling story and is still in the courts. One of the parties involved in this mess will never be the same. He felt obligated to put his weapon in the trunk of his...

  8. Rust-oleum as a Spray Laminate?

On Sunday I sprayed Valspar AC2200 urethane clear over 3751RA/290G. Turned out smokin'. Automotive clears will have UV protection. You can get catalyzed auto clear in a spray bomb too. It's called Glamour Clear, but it's pricey. Once you pop the catalyst cell on the bottom you got about and...

  11. Rust-oleum as a Spray Laminate?

Don't know about Rust-O but on smaller projects I use S-W Kut-In Clear. Works a treat. My experience with Rust-O products is they take forever to tack-up let alone dry. I use Clear Shield for some larger jobs. Cheaper by the gallon.
  12. Up For Grabs!

    There ya go...LOL
  13. Up For Grabs!

For those that are considering this job: Impossible to do the tank in one piece. Might be able to do it with Fat Bobs(two halves) but no way on a Sportie's peanut tank. Fenders would be easy enough. Make sticker from Harley Shirt? Can you say litigation? Sure, I knew ya could.
  14. Wrap Experts Killer Camo

This^^^^ Or do like I do. Go for a hike in the "pickers" with your digital camera and take some photos of the real thing.
  15. Trying to get the right color!

Harsh reality is you will NEVER match a large percentage of Pantone colors with a CMYK inkjet printer. Certain greens are a huge problem also even with your profiling locked down. Do yourself a favor and get a Pantone bridge chart. At a glance you will be able to see what is possible with CMYK.
  16. Competitor selling wraps too cheap

He is on the road to ruin. Much sooner than he thinks. Downside is he will tarnish your reputation just by being in the same business. Guilt by association.

Find a tech school and take a class. It is the fast way to proficiency.
  19. decals for coolers

Some time ago I had a similar request on gun cases for air transport. Solved the issue by having custom Lamicoids engraved then attaching with 4-40 stainless hardware with lock-nuts. Still in use today.
  20. 2'x10' HDU install on angled roof...

I'd build some type of full frame for the back and attach with mechanical fasteners along with adding 2 more angle brackets. To meet code in our area wind load needs to be figured at 30lbs. per square foot. Call me Captain Overkill, but I am deathly afraid of litigation. I also like to sleep at...
