drop the locking bars on the back door. Just be sure to work from the top down so they slide down as you go and will be resting on the floor by the time you take the last bracket off. An employee of mine did this once and worked from the bottom up, and I ended up with lump on my head.
We use a laser level somtimes when body lines are all over the place and curved and such.
The laser level must NOT be self leveling. get one that you adjust the level so you can line the laser to a body line whether it is level or not and whether the floor is level or not. They don't work...
HaHa, whats the opposite of nothing? Maybe i should talk him into a wrap one side black one side white split down the middle of the van with each side dedicated to one company.
I have a customer that wants his logo for his coffee shop on one side of his car and the other side he wants his bakery company logo on the other. Is there any unwriten rules on this? The two places are right next to each other.
I guess I should have said this in the first place that it is for my partner's and my trucks. We both agree that we love the reflective at night and like the matte finish in the daylight. "Standards" are not of any concern, we just want the lettering to still "light up" at night.
I am using oracal 5600.. and are we both talking about laminating with matte laminate? Your response sounds like you may be talking about gloss or clear laminate.
Which sign trade mags does everybody like best? Looking to subscribe to one or some but would like to hear which ones are good. I'm looking for ones that have good intorducitons to new materails and tecniques as well as whats going on in the sign world etc. Thanks
All credit on this to Jill, she designed a bunch of different ideas/concepts for us now we have it narrowed down to what you see... now we are looking for others opinions on the Inc. , & vs. "and", and connecting the p and h.
Gino, thanks for sharing that. I guess what I meant about overcharging and unnecerarily expensive material is that I have always been using oracal 3951 with 290 lam for outdoor signs, a 10 year vinyl. but if the sign is going to start to fade in say 5 years then why not use 3551 with 215 lam...
Gino,
would you say then that printing on a 10 year cast vinyl with eco sol max ink is a waste for a flat outdoor sign. I want my products to last as long as possbile and to look good but I also dont want to over charge or use unnecessaryily expensive materials. Correct me if I'm wrong but...
How long will eco sol max ink really last? Updating my pricing strategy and think i may have been going overboard the past 2 years. We tend to use oracal 3951 for most of our ACM signs. It's a 10 year vinyl but if eco sol max ink is only fade resistant for 5 years then should I have been...
