cocut has a generic HPGL driver. IF yoru cutter follows the standard HPGL specs then you should have no problems. However, Some off brand cutters are using reversed HPGL or some other unknown variant of such.
www.cocut.com and have a looksee..
This is why I post that cutter speed is an irelevant point when purchasing a cutter. 400 IPS means nothing if the material cannot get out of its own way or bunches up so high that it triggers the safety sensors..
Even my lean, mean, ever faithhfull ol' Anagraph will do the same as posted above...
it all depends on the bus speed. 400 memory will not deliver any faster than what the bus allows. So if its a 266 bux then it will transfer data at that speed.
It wil seek internally at a faster speed .. the data can only get to the CPU thru the bus..
If the ram is compatible .. The machine will run but at the slower ram speed...
No problems .. If it is not compatible you will know.. Your machine simply will not boot.
Just go get another drive and be done with it. They are so cheap now. And then he will have TWO drives. One dead, adn one alive. If the ead one revives eh will have 2 good drives. One fo ruseage and one with a ghose image onit. Then eh will never again be without a working machine.
my friend,, i used to cut winder tint all da time
And i cut many layered panels .. and i cut translucent that MUST fit right or it leaks,,
I use a good cutter,, good material and corel with cocut pro..
I would guess that the software is sending its own settings to the cutter. Did you check the software to see if those setting are the same you want?

I been making my own sticky rulers with scrap digi print material for a LONG time. In fact, encad has a ruler image made for for printing and calibrating.. Print it,, place it on mag material. Use it. Sheesh, patent it all they want.
Not any more. But, I used to be a part owner in a PC shop. Even traveled abroad to see how parts were made. I and another partner won a state of the art PC tower CPU in a software challange several years ago.
My present machine is just a plenty fast enuf 2.4 Intel CPU with a gig of ram and 4...
I use WD's always have and likely willl continue ,, But, I do not buy the 1 yr warranty drives.. Of course they do not last. Why would any one buy a short term drive and wonder why it quit after 15 months..
Personally, I have three WD's in my machine right now,, and all of them are more than 4...
