Even the government and school board jobs are being paid for by cc. But at least the offices call in within a day or two of getting the invoice. What is a real killer is a client holding off for 30 to 60 days or more and then dumping you with a cc and associated fees. So we pay it up front by...
Regardless of roll width we have found that we have only had issues in the first foot of printing. And it was due to either carriage scuffs or rubbing on the curing unit. Our solution was to feed more stock through or to unload at the end of each day so the roll doesn't take on a tighter curl on...
New woke typography rules state that no loop, swash, tail or descender shall be placed in a demeaning position below the baseline. I think they should be applauded for their efforts. Anyone have a rainbow sticker they can offer up as a prize?
We looked at a new Ricoh TF6251 the other day, which is either a re-branded Roland IU-1000F or maybe the Roland is a re-branded Ricoh. Not sure either way but regardless the Ricoh is about $100k Canadian more than the Roland.
We also took a look at the Mimaki JFX200 series. Between the Ricoh...
Checking out their website they offer quite a few machines for wide-format, laser engraving, etc. I would be surpised if they actually made any of their own equipment.
It doesn't look like they sell or service beyond Europe but Latvia shouldn't be a problem. Though their warranty (1 year) and...
For those that are printing on mdf do you print full size sheets and then cut down or do you pre-cut and print to size? The big issue is dust and if working with pre-cut pieces dust is very difficult to eliminate.
Hello folks,
Any experience in the group with printing onto MDF (medium density fibreboard)? If so any comparison between UV and latex or other options?
Only a few posts from way back in 2011 but reading them I think that the original poster was talking about either tempered or non-tempered...
Probably 99% of the clients are OK with this, it just happens that this is your 1% guy. Too bad because now this affects the other 99% of your clients in the space of what you provide as service. Next time, send it back un-adjusted and suggest they have an issue.
For this one, make a phone call...
It's important to also remind ourselves that the issues from the past few years of mask and vaccine mandates, lock downs, etc. have had a real impact on people on so many fronts. This may affect the way we approach situations personally as well.
Though we may not have all of the answers the...
Sometimes we would take the 390 through Corning and finish the drive to Buffalo on route 20A instead of the I90. If in season we would hit Yummies in Warsaw for an icecream break.
If Allegiant flies into an airport near you and offers direct flights to Niagara that might be an option. Niagara Falls airport is an Allegiant hub as well. Mind you a drive from NJ to Niagara Falls is just a good days car ride so flying and then renting a car here may not make sense.
Plenty of wineries in Niagara not too far from the Falls.
Clifton Hill is a busy place with arcades, and other stuff to do.
Wild Bird Kingdom is a cool place and is a short walk north of the falls.
Someone may have mentioned the new Niagara Parks Generating Station that just opened up.

The rules today are as clear as mud. A Nexus card, a FAST card or a passport would probably be minimum requirements.
