  1. What do you think it takes............................

I budget for 2-3hrs for a thorough wipe down + pulling mirrors, tail lights and window seals if I need. That's based on the truck coming in within a day after a car wash. If the vehicles have not been through a wash or it's just filthy I pass the additional hours through to the client. 4.5hrs...
  2. guillotine cutter?

I find ours invaluable. 61.5" max width cut is my only beef. Really wish it was larger, but I can't imagine doing the work we do without one.
  3. Signs of the Times Magazine Cover this Month

Saw one of the service professionals wraps out in front of the house this morning. Nice to see your stuff regularly.
  4. Direct to coro prints scratch easily (Dark colors not bonding)

I thought that 4over used FB6100s for this type of product and if they're on the OEM HP inks that's the issue. HP has all kinds of issues with coro adhesion on the FB6100s. Polymeric's hyflex ink sticks to even old coro on our FB6100.
  5. Just an idea of an approach would help...........................

good lord, why wouldn't you just go over them?
  6. Even more recent work!

I see the Colline Security van constantly on the GSP. There's another one of these guys that's local that I catch here and there too. This stuff's in a class of it's own.
  7. Removing Paper Backing From Old Acrylic

we use mineral spirits or even goo gone for small pieces. spirits will take the liner off 10yr old acrylic no problem.
  8. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

In our case someone put a forklift skid through the crate and directly into the motherboard of the press during shipping. Not much to fault Advantage and/or Mutoh's packaging.
  9. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

Went through this with a Mutoh some years ago too with Advantage, they replaced the printer no questions asked.
  10. Photoshop files... Who else hates 'em?

I'd prefer a layered file too personally.

  14. First CNC router purchase....what to look for in all of these options!

I wouldn't even consider looking at a machine without a robust vacuum system.
  15. First CNC router purchase....what to look for in all of these options!

Ours is an '04, 2 service calls for the life of this router. We run up to 20hrs a day for weeks at a time without any hiccups. If it had a tool changer I don't think I'd be considering a replacement in our future.
  16. Cool start to finish process.

    Nice stuff!
  17. New Partial Wrap for Shop Truck

    Love it.
  18. Croftgate wrap care vs 3M heavy duty wrap cleaner

I've used the Croftgate sealers and I like them, but I have no direct comparison to the 3M stuff to offer. I know for my own car I've used spray waxes on the gloss vinyls with good success.
  19. What's your preferance and why?

correct The JV33s have been around a long time and are definitely vetted for this type of printing.
  20. What's your preferance and why?

I install the 3M and Avery wrap materials the most. Names: IJ180C/V3 with the 8518 gloss lam MPI1005SCRS with the 1360 gloss lam 3Ms the benchmark for performance and I put a lot of that on, but the Avery is quite nice to use too. It has a lower initial tack, the 1360 lam combo is slightly...
