  1. Can your trailer handle this?

I gotta be honest...I've never seen dudes post their skivvies for sale on Facebook. But the gals, on the other hand, are an entirely different story all together. I don't know who she is, but she had me at "F-ton"...which is apparently why such a beefy trailer is required. JB
  2. Need Help https://www.calmstrips.net/

BREAKING NEWS: The same effect you're looking for can be produced with a simple Band-Aid. They come in all sorts of colors and prints. I, however, find these to be equally comparable to Calm Strips: JB
  3. 54” Summa S2-140T

I asked him about that, and he said that it's more of having to screw it in every time to get the proper depth setting. I kept asking about alternative holders, but he believed it wouldn't make difference. I find it difficult to believe myself. JB
  4. 54” Summa S2-140T

My colleague purchased the 30-inch (or whatever it is), and from his report, he likes the performance. The only downside is that he doesn't like the way the knives have to be totally re-set each time you switch. He uses monument stencil and Hartco 310, and changes between 45 and 60 degree...
  5. Married too young???

I'm perfectly happy with my high-school sweetheart bride of 35 years....knowing that she didn't marry me for the money. I love my kids and grand kids, and all the fun we have without the pressure of high-brow life. Our motives are never questioned by our social circles, and I still manage to...
  6. Married too young???

    More like his cache. JB
  7. Married too young???

I honestly wonder if it was for tax purposes. A lot of people are still together, but are divorced on paper. JB
  8. Large Stencil On Wall

I'd pass. Letting a client finish your work is literally doing a job "half way". JB
  9. Married too young???

Rumor has it that she gets to keep the house. Bill gets to keep the windows. JB
  10. Discussion new blades

The same feeling holds true with new socks and new underwear. JB
  11. Question What makes an illuminated sign cabinet "extruded"

One advantage of extrusions is that their cross sectional profiles can be fine tuned so they're stronger than boxes of a similar gage made on a brake. Ribs and other geometric features can add significant rigidity to otherwise flimsy material. JB
  12. Arching Letters in Coreldraw?

It's not so much a character's position as it is the distortion that happens between the bottom (compression) and the top (expansion) on an upward arc, or vise versa on a downward arc. JB
  13. Arching Letters in Coreldraw?

Ditto to the aforementioned issues with Corel and Adobe. I'm absolutely blown away how Gerber Omega handles text on an arc with no distortion, and it's really fast (with no need to create a path first). Just about the best I've seen out there. SignLab isn't too bad either. The attached...
  14. Four Fonts

Thank you. It also comes up as a ITC Bookman variant. JB
  15. Four Fonts

Wow, I'm absolutely overwhelmed how fast each of you responded. Many, many thanks! JB
  16. Four Fonts

rying to match these for a stone engraving project. Thanks in advance. JB
  17. The Old Man and the Sea

Perhaps. Wonder why he didn't think of using a "Bob"ber? JB
  18. Calling out size- height 1st, length 2nd?

Real quick...look at your screen....the x axis is horizontal, the y axis is vertical. Alphabetically speaking, X always precedes Y. Mathematically, the Cartesian coordinate system follows the same rule....x coordinate first, y coordinate second. WIDTH FIRST, HEIGHT SECOND. It's that way...
  19. The Old Man and the Sea

Jonny....the other responses appear to be clueless as I post this reply, but I can see through your literary veil. That's pretty darn creative. I think the camo hat is what disguises it so well. No comments from the angler as of yet. JB
  20. Heidelberg offset press

Look for a different market. There's still a demand for these with people who do artisinal letterpress printing and foil stamping or embossing/debossing. JB
