Just curious as I've been using flexi for a few years now with my hp360 but I only use flexi for the RIP and print portion and none of the design elements. Is there a cheaper option as it seems crazy to be paying this every month for basically a printer driver.
I have a 1324 that has the chip bypass installed and running. Free to a good home if you can pick it up. Also has take up reel. Switch to latex a few years back and it's not used anymore. In northern CT.
I will look in to the font issue. It always chokes when I scroll through fonts to use., I never really used the font manager but I'll take a look at it know. I know I've used quit a few fonts from Dafont. Thanks for the ideas as this is getting very frustrating between lags and crashes...
its a subscription so the latest version is the June release of 24.4.0.636. System is a core i9-13900KF, 64gb DDR5-6400 ram, 4tb Nvme x 2, Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti 8gb, win10 64bit.
I don't know what up but it seems to be crashing more and running even slower lately. PC is only a few months old, nothing else running in background. Really should just move to adobe except I don't have the time to learn it.
I went to HP's website and they didn't have a part number or listing for just this part. tried calling as well and was on hold over an hour before i gave up.
Just a follow up. Ordered another head and all is well. Seems to be a bad head. Tried calling HP to get them to replace it and was disconnected after on hold for an hour and 20 minutes.
So my L360 front panel power button stopped working a while ago. Wasn't a huge deal as I just open the cover to wake it up. I wanted to get in to diag mode which requires the front power button. After removing the screen bezel I found the switch worked fine but the .02 plastic part around it...
Printer is a 360. So I thought I had a bad LM head as I wasn't getting any ink. Did cleanings etc etc to no avail. Replaced with new head and it printed fine for a bit then stopped as well, guessing new heads come primed with a little ink in them? Well it looks like I just ran out of LM ink...
I have a 1324 not in use anymore that I had reprogrammed to disable the ink monitor. If the boards are the same you're welcome to the entire printer if you come get it.
Well what do you know, that LC cart is oow. so using OOW ink cancels the head warranty? that sucks. Evidently I hard use the LC ink as all the others inks are fine and in warranty.
I replaced my LC/LM head today. Was delivered today and box has a 2024 date on it. Inside plastic pack has a 2024 date on it. Printer page says its out of warranty with todays date of install. Why would it be out of warranty?
Just curious Ashley348 di you figure out the issue? I am having the same issue that I think is called silvering. Almost a metallic look after laminating.
Yikes, It was so clean i didn't even notice it. If maybe there was a little cyan showing it would have seen it! I replaced this am and its 90% there. Still some slight banding after head cleanings and alignments. Just odd how brand new printheads still show some bad nozzles in the service...
