Hello Everyone,
My daughter and wife asked me to make them some planner stickers, but instead of on white sticker paper, they want to have them done on vinyl.
I am struggling trying to find a printable (on hp latex) vinyl, matte finish, that is indoor/low-tack/repositionable, that they can...
I'm not so sure they even code Omega in house, I was told one of the other big software developers actually codes Omega, which btw, hasn't been updated in years.
Can't get any better than this response, and it leaves the emotions out of it. It is exactly what I did, I went and visited the Roland dealer and then the HP dealer, took my sample files, had them printed, etc.
We ended up going the HP 310 route for a few different reasons, quality was not one...
Flexi techs spent an hour this morning trying to get it to work, with no success. Tried the settings listed here, etc.
Surprised no one at Flexi ever had to get an Edge working within Flexi, especially since they officially support it.
For now, still having to use Flexi and Omega, which is a...
Did you have to setup a 3rd party lpt to usb driver to get this working?
Windows doesn't see the gerber on any lpt ports, it see's it as a WinUSB to Parallel Cable in device manager.
Working with Flexi, and they aren't sure yet either.
Tom
Can you share this? I can't even get my Flexi to see my Edge, and I've tried every option/port available.
Omega on the same computer prints just fine to it.
Talked to rep and APC engineer, they said this unit:

Would handle it, and allow for double pull for in-rush when motors kick in. $4K for a UPS, ouch.
Edit - looking at that further, looks like I'd need to have...
Yea, I have the electrician installing the circuit this week, however I wanted to source the UPS on my own, they don't sell them. He's putting in a single 20a/220v line with 2 plugs on it since the max draw of the HP 310 is 16a and 2.2KW.
I'd plug the printer into a UPS and then the UPS into...
Agree on 54" cut only jobs, but this month alone, we had 5 or 6 jobs that were > 30" decal only, and the wife is getting sick of paneling these together. The $$ on the larger cutters is very minimal compared to the cost of the larger printers, so what the hell, why not.
