Your title says "die cut", but your post infers that they're plotter cut. (Die cutting is done either by steel rule die that cuts like a cookie cutter or a thermal die plate that cuts by melting the perimeter of decal.)
What is your typical decal size? Font size?
What brand of cutter are you...
As long as things need to be repaired, there will always be a need for skilled manual tradesmen. ALWAYS.
CNC is a wonderful tool, but it's just that...a tool. In a good number of the cases, manual repairs can be made quicker and more economically than setting up CNC equipment. In rare...
Because that's the short-sightedness of a generation that has never seen a truly bad economy. When the $hit hits the fan and the tide turns, the burger flipper will wish they'd done things differently. They're being lulled into a very bad situation so very early in life.

In some trades, what was once old is now new.
Take a look in the local want ads and see how many people are crying for help from an old school "manual machinist". Around here, they cant throw out the money fast enough in hopes of landing a skilled metal worker. Most kids today...
For sure...for sure. My baby girl turns 29 tomorrow. While I was shopping this evening, I saw a young couple getting their groceries and I couldn't resist the chance to impart some wisdom in the frozen food aisle. The young father was holding a relatively new baby...perhaps just a few days...
Enjoy it while you can, for all to soon it will give way to bigger things...and then they move away. Seriously, it happens quickly...especially when you're not paying attention.

About a month ago, I had an 8-yard roll-off dumpster hauled in so I could do a major purging of the miscellaneous "useful" things I'd been holding on to for way too long. Before it arrived I was determined to be ruthless, and ruthless I was.
It's amazing how even the slightest bit of clutter...
Does he realize that an upgrade from GA to Omega 6.5 Cut Print is only $895? If he's going to have to learn software, he'd be better off investing the money now and a getting supported version...especially for a monument business.
On a side note, isn't the GA dongle for a parallel port...
It's interesting, for sure. A couple of the spider legs in the last photo are just about the width of the rim on that dime.
But what I really find amazing is how a delicate, lacy spider web can hold up to a reverse etch in which approximately 10 times (or more) of the stone's surface area is...
It's been a learning process, with a few pleasant surprises along the way. If I had my way about it, I'd rather spend my day tinkering and inventing but the bills keep getting in the way. A few years ago, I started keeping detailed journals on new the things we've learned. What you see in the...
So far, we've had success with just about everything other than expensive cast vinyl. The process we've developed has more to do with the ability to reach deeper depths than does the vinyl...sounds kind of crazy, I know.
I'm curious about other industrial applications, and the thoughts of a...
In an effort to "un-hijack" a previous thread, I am re-posting my reply to Andy D here. The original thread was about weeding vinyl...sorry about that AMGearhart...guess I got a bit carried away.
Yes, they're sandblasted. Most of our paver bricks only have names on them so I've also included...
In spite of all the stress from this thread, I'd say you did well.
I'm especially a very big fan of black and white. The sign really ties the whole facade together.

This forum does not explain my process, but here's one of the few sandcarving forums on the web: http://azglassclasses.com
You may have to join that forum to see some of the photos posted there.

I especially like sign vinyl because it allows the freedom for much more detail than sandblast stencil. There's no way we could have done the spider web otherwise.
