Yeah I should state I have never bought anything from these guys, I don't have any good / bad feedback due to the fact I haven't used em. Just seen this link posted in some other threads so I shared.
I am sure if I looked into their website longer than 2 minutes I could of read up on it but what makes this a better setup than lets say a drill with a 3m eraser wheel adapter on it?
Gino who did you buy your zapper from? Looking for one to try it out.
We have a steamer and I do not think it worked any better than a big torch would.
Anyone know of a good supplier to get 3/16" poly-carbonate material for a back-lit sign? Its a big one so would have to be sold out of a roll.
Only place I have tried is Interstate Plastics but not sure if they have the best pricing or not?
My help who did a lot of the production left a couple weeks ago to go to college. Since I have not been able to have time to do designs for clients wraps. I got in touch with a designer and his price is basic $400 a wrap design.
Is that to much for a vehicle wrap design?
Any tips on mounting translucent printed vinyl with 290 over laminate 3'x18' to lexan for a back-lit sign?
If I start it and then mount it using a laminator will it track straight enough for 17 ft?
You may want to look into building profiles. Sometimes with stock profiles you cannot get the speed with the quality. If you dial in your profiles you can print faster and still have the quality. Normally 8 pass is more than enough for vehicle wraps.
glad I am not the only one. It doesnt seem to do it after 10 ft or so I tried comparing it to the 180 backing paper and it does seem a lot thinner so it probably doesnt take much to buckle the edges just in shipping.
yeah understood just trying to find out the reason for the head striking the 3751 on the ends of the rolls.
Not sure if it is because my suppliers damage them handling them or if its just a thin material with thin backing so it lifts easier.
