by the looks of your proof your dealing with metallic red base on the car and it seems pretty dark..your not gonna get anything really bright redder then lets say 0 100 100 0 ... thats the best that works for us or pantone 186c red isnt bad...
I dont think youll like any quotes you get for screen printing without doing minimum of some do 12 most are 24...other then that you gotta look into dtg or heat transfers (Which I dont recommend)
Make sure you DO NOT use edge sealer on it...That stuff is not meant for surfaces where vinyl doesnt meet each other. Boats are expensive nowadays I would hate to see you put that on a 80k wake board boat and have a very unhappy customer...Doesnt matter below the waterline or not..I guarantee he...
Hmm I am not to sure or confident on the liquid laminate ... One thing you could do is run 3m edge seal tape or people use "Lam Strips" around the whole way of the graphic...Ive done many boats and you really shouldnt have an issue I use 3m 180cv3 and edge tape everything...I dont think convex...
I agree with finishline may I ask why you used convex instead of regular vinyl which would adhere just fine and be thinner which makes the roughness of the water not so dangerous to the decal?
what does it even cost to have a banner sewn now days? I sew my own but if you have a third party do it..lets say compared to hemming yourself and cost of tape and what not...Im curious to know what people pay to get em sewn.
Yeah seems very low on cost and a great way...I am a one man shop but we dont do a lot of signage but I guess the basics would carry over to whatever it is we do right?
That took me 2-3 times to reread to understand but it sounds very organized...I dont know if I am big enough to need and use ALL that lol good job though!
Yeah I dont do a ton of signage so i always have revision after revision after revision it gets old lol...I havent tried the folder thing yet...I got a whiteboard that gets filled out and i find it a hard time to keep up with or put on schedule lol..
I think #3 Is your issue...You dont want your media in the middle of the rollers you want them towards the end...In the middle can cause uneven pressure on the media (more pressure on the end of the middle than in the middle) causing the middle to buckle...I run jetflex 13 oz all day long and...
Im not sure if there is a good way to keep organized lol...Ive tried electronically i cant keep up ive tried papers they get lost or all over the place...
Im not sure how true that is? Colorburst is the OEM rip for the epson gs6000 so why would thye not make a 8 color version for the epson..The epson has its own stand alone version of colorburst...I tried it and went with onyx...I liked the colors out of onyx better but maybe its just me.
I normally keep 60" always in unless diong window perf or a large run of a smaller size I usually only run 60" and stuff for 36" ... I use craft paper so if I wanted to run 60" all the time I could but i hate the waste. If you have the ability of having 2 guys for laminating stuff you can run...
Id love an alternative other then 3m 180cv3...BUT i dont like avery and never tried oracal..Maybe others can post that have stepped away from 3m and been happy?
