We have them under the hoods of race vehicles on the air cleaner and they are holding up surprizingly well. I would be more worried about the washings and scrubbings along with the sticking to the plastic surface you will be using more than anything.

If you are doing a lot of them and need to laminate, the ink jet is probably going to be your best bet. Our cost per sq foot on the PC 600 was 5-7.50 per sq foot and our cost on our ink jet is just under $1 laminated. If you are only talking 1000 decals a year then I would sub-contract it out...

In the layers menu, go to layer styles and choose what you want, do this while you are in the text layer you want to apply the style too. In the menu that comes up layers on it, you can click on the first icon on the lower left hand side of that menu box too and it will show the same thing...

In Flexi how do you print just 1 panel at a time? This is something we have not been able to figure out but end up needing to do every once in a while. Thanks

We use Flexi 7.5V5 still and orajet 3651G with flexi profiles and so far are getting great results with the max inks.

We do a fair amount, about 150 to 300 feet per month, the rest is cut vinyl. But we traded the PC600 for a VersaCamm SP 300 when they first came out. We used the color mixer and where it says RGB or CYMK, choose spot color, then on the advance tab check the box by spot color in flexi Pro...

We use to have a PC600 and printed black spot color all the time on resin ribbons and wax, used to print just 3 color at times to save expense also. Did it from Flexi Pro however.

First set the printer up to print only by going to the advance tab and choosing contour, then selecting for print job only. 2. Then go to driver options under the advance tab and check mark print crop marks. 3. Send the job, once it is done printing, scoll out 4" or so, not less and sheet cut...

I noticed that on the video they reference cold mount lamination but do not show it being applied. I did not see any change to the sheeter, like an additional takeup roller, so I wonder if it is set up to do that or if it is still a two man job?
