how can I tell if the dampers are the problem compared to just dried ink from being left off & setting idle while we were gone? Before we left it worked great.
yes, the yellow and magenta are nearly full. Since do repeated filling of the capping stations with cleaning fluid, let set, then running test print, we have gotten all the magenta back and about 15-20% of the yellow. It is getting better.
We went on a vacation for about a week. Came back ran 3 med cleanings and then a test print. We only had black and cyan on the test print.
We then lowered the capping stations and filled with cleaning solution.
Now we have about 3/4 of the magenta nozzles laying ink down but still no yellow...
We have an SP 300 versacamm and any thing more expensive would have hurt us quite a bit in our market. Speed is not a big issue. Cost is for us. Just too small of a market here and way too many people doing this type of work.

We are going in to our fourth year, I am in my forties and have been an agronomist for 25 years but we have had some pretty bad weather, droughts, severe hail storms the last 7 years and just needed to diversify our income sources.
We use excel and have built in formulas to help do the calculations for us.
Saves time and your template prices are updated each time you build a quote or bid.
You can make it look very professional. We do one for our in house use, then hide the columns we don't want seen like cost, % markup...
